Does friendship trumph ethics in poker? OK, here's the setup. I'm playing at a local casino in a 1/2 game and an old college buddy of mine is also at the table. He plays more for fun and is still learning the game. A hand he is involved with with someone else at the table goes down to showdown and my friend has clearly lost the hand. However, the dealer MISREADS the board and chops the ~$80 pot. I'm somewhat confused as is the rest of the table. This is what the last 2 requirements read directly from the site: "The Bad Beat Jackpot collects $0.50 from the pot of each raked hand that is raked $0.25 or more. Ultimate Bet Bad Beat Jackpot RIPOFF I've been playing at the UB BBJ tables for well over a year. I've won quite a bit but when the recent jackpot of ~$800K hit, they really dropped the ball. I was 6 tabling at the .25/.50 NL when it hit at a neighboring table of the same limit. Usually, you get paid 6 times the amount for playing the same stakes. However, I was only paid for 2/6 and they only acknowledged me playing 5 tables. I have even saved the hand histories I know others had problems so I emailed support.
