Bad call in this spot?
With no history or other info I'd prob fold but it is really close. AJ I think is slightly more of a call but I don't think you calling against a solid reg is bad by any means. Also if he's shoving from blinds I'm def calling.

stars 50r hand vs gagliano30,do you fold to gags 4bet on the flop?
Before I looked at the results I was pretty sure this was a set. If not, a big combo draw. Doubt you can fold flop to his raise, but why are you 3betting flop' I would flat and re-evaluate on turn since you're in position. It leaves your hand a bit disguised as you would prob be doing this with a FD as well as plenty of overpairs.

Annoying Hand from $3r
fold pf. As played, c/c flop, turn, and prob puke fold river. Just curious what you're trying to accomplish by min raising turn'

Tough River Spot Early in Maximus Event 27
Easy fold pf, utg 4x and you have an extremely marginal hand. You are RARELY ahead on river here in a 3 way pot so just muck.

A case for "defensive bet" or "donk bet" on the river OOP, be the jury..
Ha thx Cheroko. Yeah never really getting called worse if I shove river. Shoving is never the answer when I 3b cuz I always have the nuts. Take note.

Hit it on the head. I can def check this flop back with hands that I connect or hands that I miss. I was actually a bit upset about this hand as I thought I should have stacked him. By the river I knew he had 1010/JJ so I was contemplating a river value shove but as played I don't think I played it terribly.

So my gf "idk2poker" just shipped the 6 cent rebuy on Merge for a $10 score. For the record I gave her no advice and she is clearly already better than I am.

Small Pairs in midstakes Merge tourney.
I like a fold slightly better than raising here. If you are super confident with your postflop play then raise but most often you are gonna be in a very awk spot OOP. Fold is prob more +EV with this stack size long run.

Should I quit my job yet?
Really not worth it to quit your job unless you're absolutely killing it AND/OR LOVE to play all the time. Playing poker full time can become draining and limits your other career options. Continue to get better and play part-time, build the roll etc. On the other hand, unless you play full time you really can't quite put in the volume and dedication necessary to succeed.

A must read!!! DOJ suggests that unlike sports betting, poker is not a game of skill
Super tilting statement by the DOJ. Maybe the DOJ should challenge some top players to a series of HU matches and see how much luck is involved.
