top pair nut redraw in a cash game , assuming you are properly rolled Id shove and be prepared to reload if necessary . Folding is not an option IMO and a call would be a weak play in this spot

getting 2:1 with A 2 ( a hand that is easily dominated ) is not a correct call , especially considering that if he loses the hand he only has $600 left . Another way to play the QQ is to smooth call and shove the flop . you have position and a hand that plays well heads up , so it is often corrrect to take advantage of that and not allow the A rag to see 5 cards . as far as being a bad beat ..........nope !

Sammy is an extreme example of a LAG who does not mind taking the worst of it . He gives so much action , but also gets plenty of action when he does actually have a hand . I live in Houston and have seen him in several " local " rooms and he plays the exact same way in every hand as what you see on TV . He will usually go through several buy-ins or win every chip on the table . Side note : He is an absolute animal in Omaha and is prolly the best Omaha player around and keep in mind alot of the players that he pays off in holdem repay him + a little extra in the Omaha games

You have 12.5 BBs left and a small pair out of position . there are 2 plays IMO . 1. Shove pre flop with 2 ways to win a. everyone folds and you pick up blinds and antes ( doesnt matter what your cards are in this situation BTW ) b. you get called by a smaller pair ( unlikely based on the huge over bet ) or get called by AQ + etc etc and you hold up or get called by a bigger pair and hit your 2 outer . 2. Fold pre flop and wait on a better hand or better position . a shove for 12.5 BBs usually = a small pair or AQ AK type of hand and will usually get called by TT + and is a bad play IMO . ...
