Re:How would you play it? There are several issues here. First, how big is the button's stack' Second, what is average at this point' As far as play goes, raising to 550 is probably too much. Everyone knows that you're not raising that big with a premium hand. Also, realize that you just raised 1/6 of your stack with KQo. A standard raise is plenty here, aka 450 max. I would prefer a raise of 420 so that you're only raising 1/8 of your stack. Either way, the flop brings an interesting situation. Depending on his stack, a bet would likely pot commit with you a flush draw/gut shot. It's also important ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Bad push with TT pre? In the $69+6, 20k on Bodog. Blinds at 200/400 with a 50 ante. Average is 11k. UTG+1 raises to 1k and started the hand with 6.8k. UTG+1 is a break-even player with an average buy-in of $95 and is fairly loose. Button has 13.2k and calls. Button is fairly passive and plays straightforward. I'm sure the button is reraising with any big pair. I’m in the BB with 12.1k and TT. I shove and UTG+1 autocalls with AA. Obviously the button folds. Good push/bad push' What should I be doing here' Fort what it's worth, the flop was rainbow and J-hi. Also, is there an amount I can reraise that ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
