" LOL. these are only 2 hands out of a gazillion. Just happened the way I played this one was really slow. You think I play like this all the time'" I fail to see how balancing your play applies to this kind of situation, where getting money in before the river is like, way standard

Re(4): Play a $55+5 turbo SNG with me (long and informative, buckle your seatbelts)
jennifear, you ask for feedback, so here is mine: I pretty much agree with DCalZone, a player who is very respectable and talented in higher buyin SNGs. On a scale of 1-10, if it takes around a 7 to beat 60's and a 4 to beat 27's, I would say you are somewhere around a 5.5 which, of course, is far good enough to teach players who rate around a 2. and certainly you are good enough to trounce the smaller SNGs. however, IMO your play is evident, especially at stages where knowledge of ICM is critical, that you are not a winner at the 60's. so, boring as it is, i basically agree with ...

Re(5): Interesting isolation play by dmmikkell late in tourney
i think the opponent in question is very capable of shoving wide here, but the equity of AJ here against his range is like 50% at best not including the dead money in the pot. Way too thin an edge when there are other donks to pounce on. If you had a monster stack though.... oooo its tempting

Re(4): WTF? dim--tix sold his account with 30 left to AJ during the Sunday Million?
" i was at the pca and had no idea. that's pretty sick." astonishing, jeffrey garza's baller-brags generally carry for miles, especially in the crisp bahamian air and fwiw, anyone who had been paying attention to the final table chat may have noticed that dim--tix said something to the extent of "i love tasting the sweet tears of clowns like you", as if that wasn't another dead ringer.

Re(2): GambleAB's Article: my thoughts
for any author to assume an average player can make 2bb/100 in LHE 10/20 is crazyyyy, even full ring. thats why players are average. *winning players do what aaron says, thats why they succeed. seems like a sick ploy to get average tournament players into his games! tsk

Re(7): Nightly $100k FT is crowded with uber-sharks
this was maybe the most depressing final table ever, to come in as such a short stack. acey deucy was the only cognizant player at the final table, everyone else was incredibly easy to play against. sadly I had JJ run into AA 5 handed (how is this possible') near the FT bubble and was shortstacked. yaaaaaahhhhhhh.
