Re(1): Rankings/UB/Cheating
I may be the only one who feels this way, but the problem with the UB and AP scandals are not the fact that they have some cheats working for them who access these super-user accounts. Sure they should hire more trustworthy people. The real problem with both of these sites is how they handled the problem once it was discovered. I have never played on UB or AP but I feel like if I was a player on those sites I would feel much more confident playing there if they told everyone who played on that site, "Hey we had a cheating issue. We discovered the problem. Immediately took care of it, blah ...

Re(1): Hand during Daily Double
Maybe I play too passive... but 235 isnt exactly a gin flop for 10-10. So if i were you I just call the 175... raising to 600 def commits you to the pot imo. But if you call and gain info on the turn it makes your decision much easier one way or the other imo.

Re(6): Tough hand from FTOPS ME
The absolute 0 play. On Wikipedia if you type in 0 play it should only give a link directly to that hand.

Re(2): What tilts you the most when playing online?
Yea, I remember when FT made one of their upgrades to the auto-highlight betting amount. I would be typing in the chat box and would hit enter and then i'm like wtf''' I didnt want to minraise''!!! Howd that happen''' Let's just say i learned the hard way to keep that setting off.

Re(1): What tilts you the most when playing online?
People coming behind me and watching me play, and then chastizing my play. I don't invite them to watch me play, they just do it. They walk in and immediately think they are Doyle fcking Brunson, because they watch the WSOP on ESPN. Keep in mind these are people who are not good poker players, and have little to no idea what they are talking about, just what they heard from Norman Chad. (i.e. my Dad and my roommates) How am I supposed to make a big laydown with them standing behind me yelling, "But you have a flush'! You have to call!" Then after I fold I try to explain my logic and thinking ...

Re(5): Tough hand from FTOPS ME
Just call his c/r' I don't see a problem with that since you have position, and there are many scarecards that can come on the turn which will slow him down. I feel if you are going to 3-bet/f then calling is probably a better option. See how he reacts to a turn card, and gauge his strength then.

Re(2): FTP 50K guar. 1ST Place- OBV brag post!!!!!
You can't chop, so I guess he and the other guy made a deal and decided that the winner would ship what would be the difference. So, they obv trusted each other enough to do that because if FH wouldn't have shipped there is nothing the other guy could do about it, FT won't get involved, but they can't stop two guys from shipping after the tourney is over.

Re(1): WPT broadcast last night: Sexton's comment regarding betting into dry sidepot...
Well, in Ted's defense of his play at the Mirage. I believe Ted is playing to win and doesnt care whether or not Kido busts 4th or not. He knows Kido is going to move in with a wide range, a range that his A9 beats alot of the time. He also knows Chris Bell probably has him beat but needs a pretty big hand to call a bet because "no one bets into dry sidepots without a hand." The play worked for Ted that hand, I'm just kinda suprised that no one thought that the play was at least marginal, since the concensus seems to be that it was a pretty awful play. But I believe Ted said in the broadcast ...

Re(3): OK I need some major cash game help.
I wouldn't advise a player who is new to the game to adopt this strategy because they may quit on games when they are too good, and they play when they should quit when they are losing to try to get even. This style for you may be effective, but I believe that most pros would agree that it is not optimal. Also, I don't see why playing lower than 2-4 is wasting the OP's time. I understand that winning and losing a few dollars might be insignificant to you, but if you forget about the money and just try to play good poker and win, the $ will take care of itself.
