Re:6 max tourneys on Stars?? Ok let me clarify. They have no BIG 6 max BUY-IN tourneys. Some freezeouts of >$100 and rebuys of >$50 rebuys would be appreciated. Maybe even a couple Sunday tourneys that were 6 max... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

6 max tourneys on Stars?? Why doesn't Pokerstars have any decent 6 max tourneys' They claim to offer the most tournaments in the industry, but they've been lacking in the 6 max category big time. They have a couple 6 max throughout the day but the prize pools don't even reach 10k. 6 max is much more fun b/c you can play more hands and there is definitely more skill involved. E-mail Stars support if you agree with me :) foxypham Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Is it better to be a ranked p5s player or anonymous??? I just started to grind online MTTs over a year ago. Back then I was only playing on Full Tilt and Bodog and didn't know if I was going to have success or not. Fast forward to the present and I currently play over 8 different sites with moderate success, but still missing the BIG SCORE!! I have a different screen name on each site and my various screen names aren't linked anywhere online. Therefore, sometimes I wll be playing the same person on 2 different sites but they have no clue they are playing the same guy. Does the advantage outweigh being known in the pocketfives community ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Question for MTT regulars playing in Europe?? I am currently living in Vietnam and trying to play MTTs on non-US poker sites. Most non US poker sites cater to the European time zones, which means daily nightly MTTs on those sites won't start until 2am Vietnam time which is 7 hours ahead of GMT time zone. Now the same time zone difference exist for European players playing on Full Tilt/ Pokerstars who play the full slate of nightly MTTs on those sites. My question is to those European players is when do you guys sleep and how do you balance your life'' If I decide to play MTTs on non-US sites, I will do most of my playing from 1am ... best MTTs on non- US sites I just moved to Vietnam from the US a month ago and want to get in on the non-US online action while here. I have struggled to choose which non-US sites I should play on, because there are so many of them. Please help me out and recommend a few for me. Here are the factors I am looking for in no specific order: rakeback, a wide selection of MTTs w/ prize pools guaranteed of at least 10k., easy withdrawal methods into my foreign bank account, overlays in MTTs, a good amount of rebuy MTTs I have also realized that most non US sites cater to European players or in GMT. The problem is most big ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:One time backing question for events in Atantic City? The events are going to be held at Harrah's in Atlantic City. The schedule is : May 19 $340 May20 $340 May 21 $560 May22 $560 May 23 $1080 Problem is that there is no advertising for these events and there not even listed on the WSOP website. FYI, they are also running super satellites for the WSOP ME in the afternoons from $340 to $560 buy-ins. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

One time backing question for events in Atantic City? I have a friend who wants to back me in some live events coming up in Atlantic City. The events consist of Harrah's WSOP warm up and Summer Borgata Open MTTs $1080 and below. This would total to 15 MTTs which would cost my backer $8310. This is not a long term backing deal and would just be a one-time freeroll for myself. I feel that make up cannot be involved due to this. What is a fair deal for the both of us considering that my backer is also my friend' Posted in: Poker Discussion |
