Full Tilt and Pokerstars Domains Seized How sad, our elected officials just continue to show their incompetence. We have a government that is bankrupt. They are looking for every way to steal our money (tax). So let me try to understand this....a online poker - a multi'billion' dollar a year business--with supporting associated businesses (P5/PXF..etc) worth a couple hundred million (hopefully guys :-) )....so how do they decide to best take advantage of this massive opportunity - shut it down. Re:CEREUS Well I had some money left in my account so figured I would log in last night and give it a try. I signed up for the $25 tourney 9:20 as I recall with $7500 guaranteed. It never took me to my table, and when I tried to get there, I was taken to a table titled "Fun Money" with no one sitting at it. I logged out and back in several times and could not get to my seat. I sent two emails at the time, and no suprise I have not heard anything back 12 hrs later.....some things just never change. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

UB-the jokes continue OK--well I had a few dollars left on the account so I figured I would try the new site. I registered for the 9:20 PM $25 buying $7500 guarantee. Tournement start time comes along and it takes me to a "fun money" table with no one at it. I logged off a few times and back in, it did not take me to my seat. I went to the tournament lobby, found my registration, tried to go to the table...same thing--empty fun money table....what a joke. Sent two emails and I am sure it comes as no suprise---nothing back Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:London Hotels I travel to London frequently on business. I prefer to rent an apartment, you get much more room and they are about half the price of a hotel. They are called serviced apartments and you get daily cleaning. The service I use is: /. They have apartments available in most sections of the city. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

One for the bucket list I will be 55 this year. I started playing poker on line just about 4 years ago and I truly enjoy the game. One of the things I have decided I need/want to do is play in the WSOP. It does not have to be the main event, but I want to go play. I am fortunate enough that I could just go pay and play but it should not be that simple. My wife, and I have to say I agree, commented that yes fine, go play, but you have to make the money you will need playing. If you cannot make the money playing at the $25-50 dollar level, well then you have no business playing for $1500+. Well, I happen to agree ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Do you call this? Basically down to the final three in a $25 SNG. From what I had seen SNGtafo does not seem to need a lot to make a move. If I call and win, well I win the table, if SNGtafo wins the hand, well I get second. Re:depositing on UB I started on UB and quit after all the problems. I have recently started back with them. I enjoy the tournament structures but the SNGs still dont fill up in a reasonable time frame. Depositing is rather strange. I had to send money VIA Western Union to some person in the Phillipines. That said, the money was credited to my account within 10 minutes of confirming the transaction. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Did this play deserve a five minute tirade? Fairly early in a SNG. I know the player to be pretty good, suspect he is better than me. Re(1): Schooled by Jennifear Last Sept I took a lesson from Jen after the free lesson she gave. I then spent two months working on what she taught me and went back for a second lesson in Nov/Dec. I had been depositing about $200 every three or four weeks. At that point I brought my account up to $300 and promised if I burned through it I was done. Well I made it about a year( three weeks short) without having to deposit. My sharkscope wont show that as there were a couple of decent MTT wins/cashes that dont show. The reason I ultimately did have to deposit had nothing to do with the lesson, but with me getting cocky and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I have donated $50 directly to the site and will put up another $50 with half to go to the winner and the other half to be donated in the winners name. I don't play Full Tilt ( never did very well there) so I will have to send the money on Stars. Someone (Lenny') PM me with the details of the winner and I will follow up.
