Spot in the $1k
Thx for the discussion, I'll add a couple of things for to clarify some stuff: 1. I only mentioned the fact that villain is a Supernova because I had no reads on him, as I mentioned, and as a Supernova I would expect him to play enough to know to open a wide range of hands in that spot given his stack size. It has nothing to do with intimidation/getting outplayed-as a Supernova Elite myself, I'm freerolling most of the WCOOP anyways after trading in my main event ticket so I'm not afraid to bust! That said, I'm definitely not as comfortable playing tournies as I'd like and realize that I ...

How does playing online affect your social life?
I think that you can definitely balance poker and a social life. Granted, it may be tougher to free up prime time to go out on Fri/Sat if you play tournaments for a living but I've been grinding low-med stake cash games all year trying to get SNE and my social life hasn't suffered any more than it would due to a 9-5 job. I think that I've done a pretty good job in my blog this year demonstrating that you can play 40 hrs/week and still spend many, many nights out with your friends chasing girls/relaxing over some drinks and just all around having a good time. I'm a very social person and while ...

Turbo Takedown Consecutive Cash Question
Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not I would be eligible for the consecutive cash bonus if I play the TT tomorrow even though I didn't play it last month...I cashed two months ago though, so this would be my second time playing the TT since I last cashed, although my guess is that it doesn't work that way. Anyways, I couldn't find anything on Stars so I'd appreciate some comments, thanks!

Supernova status update..
I've been going for Supernova Elite this year and currently have 791,829 VPP's. I've never earned more than 100K VPP's in a single month and because of my procrastination earlier in the year I've left myself in a position where I need to earn 145K VPP's this month (currently have 77K) and then 140K next month lol. I'm still confident that I'll make it...wish me luck and good luck to everyone else going for SN/SNE!!

25 NL hand...is this a fold?
I agree with everything that Apology is saying, you're going to want to bet the turn to keep building the pot so that you can get max value on the river. If villain has a hand like 88-TT/KJ,KT,Qx, he might be stubborn and call us again or he might give it up-either way he's very unlikely to call a river bet anyways. Obviously he's going nowhere with an ace, which is his most likely holdings given the action pre and his call on the flop. The river is gross but as Apology said, big overshoves in cash games are almost never bluffs. Without knowing anything about the villain, there are still ...

No Turbo Takedown This Month?
Weak Stars, as far as I can see they chopped it out of the sched I guess to draw more attention to the WCOOP main event. I have a streak going in the TT but looks like I gotta wait another MONTH to see if I can get my cashing bonus :( plz point out if I'm an idiot and missed it, or if Stars like scrapped this tourney altogether lol. thx!

FT of WCOOP 500r whats your play?
i saw this hand go down and was watching for a little while...as for the table dynamic, kingkaizers was opening a pretty high frequency and i think he had actually lost a few small pots leading up to this hand and it might have seemed like he was tilting a bit. i would factor that information into my decision but to me i think that KKaizers would be aware that it might look like he was tilting so he would never bluff in this spot. given his image, and the fact that you can almost never have a flush here after betting flop then checking turn and river, i would assume that KK can easily be ...

Cash game rule question...
but gamble states that "35 is 100% or more than the original raise" indicating that 100% of the raise (25) would also re-open the action. I think he just threw out the number 70 because OP stated the guy had at least 7bb's...

$1/2 cash table hand advice
That's pretty unlikely, obviously I can't speak for the villain but when I'm flying through my 24 tables I'm not really ever looking for spots to push a fish off what may or not be a cbet bluff with air. This type of play is definitely more common amongst regulars though because you need to be balancing your flop raising range a lot more...against fish I rarely ever bother balancing because I'm likely never going to see them again. Also, if the villain was going to raise with air here I don't think that he'd make it $54-he'd probably make it somewhere around $40-$45 because that bet should ...

$1/2 cash table hand advice
It's cool, no offense taken...well it's really player and situation dependant but in this case I would say that he's probably never raising a non-flush straight draw, which leaves his range as sets, 67ss and Axss (which has you crushed). He never has the same hand (he'd 3bet that pre) and as I was saying, he probably thinks that his fold equity is lower than it would be against a reg (because fish will probably never fold KQ, KJ etc to a flop raise...again, not saying OP is a fish but he is probably perceived as one b/c he didn't buy-in full) so I would say that weighs his range even more ...

$1/2 cash table hand advice
I play these stakes and with these 2 guys on a daily basis (granted I don't know that much about zep's game) and I'm sure they both view you as a fish b/c of your odd stack sizing and probably are counting on you not being able to get away from this exact hand...I would say that this is a faily standard fold and I think that the worst hand that Zep will show up with here is the nut flush draw and I'd expect to see 55 or 88 like 75% of the time. gl!

Chances of getting a refund?
Well, everytime I read "accidental registration" posts I kinda laugh and think to myself, "what an idiot!" Karma's a biatch though because today, while still half asleep, I registered for the $2100 turbo satty to the high rollers event thinking it said 2100 FPP to the $215 WCOOP #3. After I sat down and recognized 9 high stake regulars I quickly realized I fked up. I instantly e-mailed support explaining the situation and asked if I could get a refund if I never played a hand. They responded quickly but said that they couldn't investigate the situation until the tournament was over. I shot ...

TLDR; 4 censorship, Sorel Mizzi is a cheater
Well, I'm not too sure that I know much about this incident and I definitely don't support multi-accounting to get around a ban either but I find it hard to believe that Sorel even plays that much online poker now that he's playing live. Obviously I'm not well informed about that though...

TLDR; 4 censorship, Sorel Mizzi is a cheater
I shouldn't need to respond to this lol but I'll humour you...my statement is obviously nothing like your comparison because Hitler is deserving of the hate (in most people's opinions) and I don't think Sorel deserves to put up with the shit that he has dealt with. He is not trying to say that what he did in the past was not wrong-he's just trying to explain to a very dense population why he did what he did through a rational explaination... It's like the people who hate on Sorel just read what they want to read. Sorel owns up to all of the allegations that have been made against him in the ...
