I'm not sure about Sata It's a 130 gig 7200 rpm I thinks it's a ide but not positive - I'll Have to figure that out when I take it apart- if the power supply is a atx and the mother board is also all I have to worry about is the size of my power supply right'

Fixing my computer
I know things have moved forward which is why I wanna redo the system. I thinking i can use my case, power supply, reformat hard drive and use it, DVD/cdrw, -- I can get a motherboard and quad core AMD 3.0-3.4 both for under 300 ish $'s another 150 for memory and my system will be pretty high end for under 400-450$. Then later if I wanna upgrade the video card I can do that and add more memory-- I don't wanna spend 400$ on a "decent" system that doesn't have much upgrade options That I'll have to replace in a year or so-- is this a bad idea compared to building it all with new everything'

im not a total idiot to computers but, i have not built one - i know i can figure it out and build it- but im wondering if it would be easier to use parts of my curent pc for a new the one-- my comp is about 4-5 years old and is starting to slow down- most of my components are still good (dvd, video card, powersupply, case) my question is-- is it feasible or even a good idea to just purchase a new motherboard, processor, and ram. any input would be great- am looking at the AMD phenom 2 x4 965 - not sure about motherboard but i figured most of the asus ones would be fine- any ideas for a good ...

i played mtt 1$-10$ for a few years and got pissed all the time. the variance of playing in games with fields ranging in the 2-5K people is ridiculous. Is it beatable yes, is it worth it no, not unless you understand you will lose alot before you win one. which is horrible when you work a regular job and only play night or whenever your not working. i remember playing in the 5$ 4k person tournies that start at around 7 eastern time. if i would make the final table i would be playing till 1 in the morning and have to be back at work at 8 the next morning. after doing that a few times i decided ...

health care reform? effects
today i was reading that since the dems pushed the health care plan through that most repubs would retreat and withdraw from many othe bills that dems would be pushing. as in vote on a poker law of some sort. - i know that dems and repubs are working together on the poker thing, but im wondering if it could cause harm to the possibilities since the republicans now feel strong armed --- will this hurt poker'
