Hi all, We're working on bringing the site back up as soon as possible. I hate giving hard estimates since anything can change them, but I'm hearing it would be surprising if we weren't back up in the next 60-90 minutes. All running tournaments will be cancelled and paid out according to rule #31 at All ring game hands that were in progress will be rolled back as if they never happened. Everyone will get today credited as an "Iron Day" by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. The Iron Man freerolls that were cancelled will be rescheduled, likely for next weekend. We will send an ...

FTPs new sunday sched.
I will point out that with the increased chips in the Brawl (now 5K starting chips) we've lengthened the late reg time to 11 levels. This should mean that you can register up until right around 1pm ET (10am PT). You'll start with just over 20BB if you wait until the very last level to register. We're trying to make as large a percentage of our current playerbase happy as possible. If adjustments are still needed we will make them, but for now we're giving these early start times a try.

New Option to Auto-Close SNGs: With this option turned on (found under Options->Table Settings->Auto-close Sit & Go Without Confirmation), the table and tournament lobby will automatically close as soon as you bust from (or win) a SNG. I can announce that starting next week: All T$ will be converted to real money on a 1:1 basis. All Tournament Tickets will be converted to real money on a 1:1 basis. FTP Update 4/21
Today's update makes it so players can no longer change their country from the United States to a different country from the Cashier. Support can still change your listed country, but it will require proof of address change. Previous updates that went out earlier in the week without comment from me were also just addressing US player blocking. 1K MET being cancelled and forced to chop 3 handed
I'm working on getting maintenance day moved to Wednesday to avoid the problem. It's not entirely my decision and there are other factors involved, but I think it will be possible. I agree turning the $1K Monday into a turbo is not desirable.

FTP Update 4/5
In today's update: A. Private Tournaments: A new automated system to create your own private tournaments. Find it under Requests->Request Private Tournament. You'll need to have earned over 100 "base" FTPs lifetime to use the feature. B. Ring Game Tickets: Kind of like tournament tickets, but for ring games. You can find them in the regular FTP Store and Iron Man Store ranging from $10 to $200. Buy into any single ring game table with a ticket. In today's update: A. Improved Player List Widget: Lots of improvements to this widget. The list is now ordered by seat, and if there's a free seat you can click the "Take Seat" button from the widget and get taken directly to that specific seat. You can even tell where the dealer button is from the widget without having to open the table. You can also see when someone is sitting out. B. The update that just went out should resolve the issue some players were experiencing with tournaments. If you are having any issues you should definitely restart your game to take the update. If you were adversely affected by the problem, write in to support and they can help you out.

Hi all, We're working on getting the game back up as soon as possible. If you were still alive in a tournament, you will be paid out according to rule #31 at If you were involved in a ring game hand, the hand will be rolled back as if it never happened. We will be crediting an Iron Day (as if you earned 500 FTPs) for today within 24 hours or so. I don't have an ETA for when we'll be back up yet. Today's FTP Update
New in today's update: A. Multi-Entry Tournaments: The pace of new JJProdigy jokes was slowing way down, so really we had to come out with this. It is what it sounds like, and you can now play in the same tournament multiple times. Unlike the inevitable comparisons to multi-accounting, though, there is no unfair advantage here. You are always "you" and everyone knows it. You can never be seated with yourself, and if you eventually have more entries than there are tables, you will be forced to "merge" stacks (see the details page linked below for more on merging). Anybody else's full tilt spaz out?
Hi all, Just to confirm, the game is down for everyone. All running tournaments and sngs will be cancelled and players will be refunded according to rule #31 at All ring game hands in progress will be rolled back as if they never happened. If, when we come back up, you think either of those things didn't happen correctly, please contact support and they will look into the situation for you. I don't have an estimate right now when the game will be back up, but it's being worked on as quickly as possible. Apologies for the downtime.

In today's update: A. On Demand Tournaments: Half Sit & Go, half scheduled tournament, this new tournament type kicks off when the required number of players enter (just like a SNG), but then shows up with late registration in the main Tournament lobby. The $2 180 man SNG, 54 man Super Turbo SNGs, and the Rush 135 man SNGs have been converted to On Demand, and depending on their popularity we'll make adjustments from there. Waiting for Big Blind when Late Regging on FTP...
This is changing soon. You'll still have to wait for your BB at your original table, but if you get moved before that happens you will no longer have to wait. For Super Turbos we're removing the penalty entirely. This is also changing soon. You'll be able to rebuy any time during the add-on period as long as you're under the threshold and haven't taken the add-on yet. So you'll be able to late reg, rebuy, and then add-on all during the add-on break.

In today's update: A. Draw Poker: 2-7 Triple Draw, A-5 Triple Draw, 5 Card Draw, 2-7 Single Draw, and Badugi. They're all available as Ring Games, as is "10-Game" which has everything in 7-Game plus 2-7 Triple Draw, 2-7 Single Draw, and Badugi. New in today's update: A. New FTP Calculation: It's been pointed out a few times in these threads that the way we awarded points favored the full ring player over 6-max, heads-up, and tournament players. They were able to "pay less" for each FTP they earned, and getting things like Iron Man every day was much easier for them than, say, a heads-up player. Well, those days are over. Instead of giving 1 FTP per $1 raked (or 7 FTPs per $1 in tournament fees), the new calculation is this: For ring game players, 10 FTPs are awarded to the *table* for every $1 raked and then divided equally ...

I believe the answer is: Right now, you need to be French. Eventually, maybe even fairly soon, it's likely going to open up to anyone with a Euro bank account and you will be able to have an account on both.
