In all of the talk about how lucky he got to not end up 3rd nothing is mentioned about how 2 hands after they restarted he had the shorter stack all in with kj vs k7 and the guy doubled up, and then 2 hands later he got all in against the bigger stack with aq vs 1010 and lost a coinflip. The second deal he was offered 189.7k and negotiated for 192k......either way congrats Frank!

Mortal Kombat Movie/Game Trailer
I thought that the teaser/trailer/short film did look really sick and I definitely would be looking forward to seeing this made into a movie. Btw the actor playing Jax is Micheal Jai White, who also played Spawn.

Fantasy baseball trade advise please!!
This is probably a fair trade, but dont see how it helps you at all. You dont have enough sp depth considrering you have to keep Hughes and Lewis in your rp spots. Also you already have Konerko and Morneau at 1b. More importantly, like Marc said what is Konerko doing on the bench'''

I had looked at the past performances on Wed. night and was already cosidering keying Jackson Bend in all slots in tri's and supers. I also felt that if any horse with speed might be there at the end it would be Super Saver. Although Lookn at Lucky could very easily win, I am more inclined to throw him out as his tendency to find trouble combined with the rail post and a huge field with tons of speed seems to spell disaster to me. I can very easily see him getting shuffled badly at the start and not able to get position.

Dealers for the WSOP
This sounds pretty much like I thought it would be. I dont expect all the dealers to know how to deal triple draw or badugi. But that isnt what Im referring to. A good portion of the dealers couldnt read an omaha hand. But that is the case in almost all tourney series, not just the Wsop. Dont get me wrong, Im not the guy that jumps down dealers throats when they make a mistake. I was a dealer for 6 years. I just doubted the standards you said the Wsop used when hiring. When I worked in 2004 I knew one of the dealer coordinators. He told me to come and as long as I didnt do something stupid in ...

Dealers for the WSOP
I dealt the series in 04' and I guess back then it was more about knowing someone. It seems hard for me to believe what you said about "you must know all the games". There have been dealers there every year that have absolutely no idea how to deal most of the games. I have no clue how they got the job.

Im not sure if this is a brag or if its actually sick, but ive stayed at Stardust(closed), Riviera, Circus Circus, Sahara, Golden Nugget, Binions, Fiesta Rancho, Stratosphere, Wynn, Encore, Venetian, Palazzo, Flamingo, Ballys, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Caesars, Bellagio, Rio, Palms, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York New York, and Monte Carlo. So I guess you could say I have some knowledge on the subject. I definitely second everyones Venetian choice, but without any type of comp or casino rate it will run you at least $150 a night. The Golden Nugget has both a hold em and a mixed game tourney scheduled every day during their schedule this year. It is definitely night like a mini series of poker. But most of the events have a good structure for such a small buy in(most around $200)

What type of mattress do you have?
I own a Simmons. It was great until the shitty(but expensive) frame I bought started to fall apart and the mattress started to sag. Had the frame rebuilt, but it was too late. The matress is totally sunk in in the center. Moral to the story....whatever mattress you get make sure you buy a frame with good support.
