K hipster nation... got a story.. I was serving at a tiny base in the middle of a city in southern Afghanistan... Base was manned by around 50 us soldiers.. One day a flat bed truck loaded with 500lbs of explosives drove up to a wall and detonated, there was more that happened but this VBIED is what is important... The FOB I was at was a reconstruction team .. so the troops there go out and build schools and other public works for the locals.. to improve their situation.. When surveillance tape came, in...
