P5s Scouting Report
Frank Hernandez has been one of the most consistent online tournaments players on the internet since signing up for a P5s account in early 2005. He is also the original PocketFives.com Open Champion; winning it when it was a $200 buy in. He was one of the first ever PocketFives Triple Crown winners -- taking the crown twice.
In April '09, Frank made online poker headlines thanks to his outstanding results in the inaugural PokerStars SCOOP competition. After taking down the High-Stakes SCOOP Event #12 on April 7th for $57.8k, he placed 4th in the High-Stakes Event #14 the very next day for $132,400. Two days later he was at it again -- placing 3rd in the High Stakes Event #17 for $165,400. He also has a runner-up performance in the Full Tilt Poker $1 Million Guaranteed ($500+35) monthly flagship event for $124,000. That win came only two weeks after Frank won the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance for $47,200.
He also has a runner-up performance in the Full Tilt $1k event for $60,000. In February '09, Frank placed 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance for $38k. In August '09, he final-tabled the FTOPS XIII Event #4 ($100+9 Cubed) for $40,000. More recently, Frank has an outright victory in the Sunday Mulligan for $57,000 (April '10) along with a win in the Absolute Poker $150k Guaranteed for $40,000 (March '10). His largest career online tournament cash came in July '10, when he took home $192,000 for 2nd place in the PokerStars Sunday Million following a heads-up deal.
