so with FTP down does this mean i can use the money in my bank account that.... Full tilt has absolutely zero way of taking the money from your bank account - since it's 100% illegal to do so right now. Not even they're that stupid. Find out from you bank how long an e-check has to be withdrawn from your account before the check is deemed invalid. For some banks, it's 6 months. If Full Tilt doesn't take the money out in that time, chances are they'll never be able to and you'll be in the clear. But, make no mistake about it - FTP has zero way of going into your account and taking your money legally right now and I doubt they'd be dumb enough to attempt it. If they ... Odds of losing 7 three outers (or worse) in a row - Math? Hey, I'm not a mathematician... but I know some of you are. I just lost 7 hands in a row (back to back) in different tourneys on FT... all in pre flop with the lead with dominating hands (higher pair vs. pair or Ax vs A lower x) ... I know this looks like a complain thread - it's not. I just want to know what the odds of that were' -G Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re:QJ on the button, played right? Board [4c 5s 5h Qd 6h] You all limped for 40. This usually means no one's sitting on a monster (AA, KK, etc) but is by no means a guarantee. Depending on the player, they might limp here even with AQ so it's something to consider. Should you have folded QJ Pre' Maybe, but I'd say your bigger mistake was not raising it when you played it. With one limper before you, they're either trapping a monster (less likely) or playing a moderate hand (one similar to yours, or maybe small pair/weak ace) out of position. You raise here, if you get reraised - you consider folding. If they ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Time to cut losses on being a pro? I usually don't post on here. I'm also not a big name pro or anyone anybody gives a shit about anyways. But, I do know what you're going through. The only advice I can offer you is this. You can't "quit" (and probably literally; poker's probably in your blood now). Breaks don't help. I've taken loong breaks and it's gotten me no where. Moving down limits doesn't work. Nothing "works" because there's nothing to "work out". You're playing great poker and simply getitng unlucky. There's no guarantee that you'll ever be lucky, or run "good". Every situation is unique, and the past has no ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Folding KK late in tourneys to no raise - is this possible. I'm not talking about folding them to someone's re-raise and cold calling an all in. Obviously, part of this post is a whine post to cry about how many times i've lost with KK late in tourneys to sets, 3 outer Ax's or running into AA preflop. But, the numbers are staggering. We're talking in the line of 12 straight tournaments both B&M and online where my stack death was attributed to KK late in tournaments good for a first cash and a happy meal. Now. Is it possible that I can fold KK, given my history with it' Mathematically speaking, it's not. But based on my results, had I given it ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
