Re:Tom Crean it is
I originally said this would happen, I believe over a month ago, and I restated it today on some IU basketball thread. Great choice in going with Tom Crean.

Re:oh yay, more great news for IU BBall!
I said this awhile back when there was another thread about IU basketball. I think Tom Crean would be a great fit, he has ties to the big ten and he rcruits the midwest right now anyways. The only other person who I think would be perfect for the job is Jamie Dixon at Pitt. He is prob one of the top 5 coaches in the nation, and lets be honest he is at Pitt and it aint no IU basketball. He is unreal recruiter and demands the best from his players. Also a stand-up guy and cares so much for family, which we all saw when his sister died (former Army coach) a few years ago.

Re(1): MBA question/advice needed
This is a very good article I read a little while ago about MBA's. / Also, you have to ask yourself what kind of business structure you want to be in. Its funny how everyone is talking about "oh your gonna make bank" blah blah blah. You have to study the current econmoinc condition along with making yourself a "futurist" and understanding what the needs of people will be in the future. There are many different structures of business, whether is corporate, small business, etc etc. What people dont realize that the richest people are small business owners. Its the ...

Re(1): Baseball Fantasy ( Help )
I dont think Im far off by suggesting Grady Sizemore. He has continually improved each year and will again this year. He will give you numbers in every statistical category and good to great number at that. Seriously the only downside to him is that the Indians bat him in the leadoff hole. If he was in the 3 hole all year he would easily be a better pick than say someone like Jimmy Rollins or Reyes or hanley.

Its not even really the Fed Govt it is the Insurance Company Lobbyist who are really powerful and make lots of donations. The insurance companies claim or would claim that there would be more accidents due to alcohol and they would have to pay more out more lawsuits etc etc

Re(1): Lower Drinking Age
Legal age should be 19, it weeds out alot of the high-school ppl and takes the assumption that first year college students are that age and will be drinking. I think thats the right age. Not 18.

Your just daring me to take a shot at the military and there training...lol Listen I know the military has amazing training, thats a given. There would be no doubt I would want those 50 highly trained men. My point being is that you do not have to have military training to make a difference in time of crisis...

Well if its not then like I said from the start "I am confused".... What is he trying to say then' "No more problems getting volunteers for natural disasters, or states of emergency. Everybody learns the basics of how to defend themselves, and how things will operate should we ever be attacked on our own soil by a conventional military force." <---That ending paragraph led me to believe thats what he was saying

Re(1): 2 year mandatory service for all citizens...
Wait, Im confused are you saying that someone who isnt in the military cant contribute to the nation in time of crisis' Are you saying that being in the military is the only way to save ourselves if an attack happens on our soil' I pretty much think your way off basis here. There are so many volunteers for natural disasters. There are millions of people who give there money and time to all sorts of disasters that happen on our soil and around the world. The reason that the U.S. is stretched thin military wise is purely based on public policy coming straight from Washington. And alos the US ...

Re(6): Breaking Down the NCAA Tourney
I personally think IU will hire Tom Creen from Marquette. Especially if he makes a nice run this year in the tourney. Creen know the midwest well and it would be a smooth transition frrom recruiting purposes.

Your right. They are atrocious, but athletically they are the most gifted team in the tourney. And they do have the tourney experience from last years run to the great 8. Lousville is a great sleeper.

Re(1): Pet Problem...
Ok fine its over with then. Everyone handles their finances differently. I just feel bad for the dog. And obviosuly its sounds like there are some issues with his parents. And yes those are his issues. But I will not stand down from the fact that people who are irresponsible with their pets are generally irresponsible with many things in life. Pets are living things and if you cant care for a living thing then it is very telling about other parts of life. This obviously is my opinion. So take it for what its worth. I have seen alot of irresponsiblity with pets and it pisses me off to no ...
