Movie thoughts (quick) on The Raven and Young Adult
Decent John Cusack roles: 1408 Being John Malkovich Can't really think of much else. Definitely agree with Youg Adult, Theron's performance was top notch and it was nice to see Oswalt in a decently directed film. The range of characters he can play is obv pretty narrow being a short and chubby comedian, but he always gives a great performance when given the opportunity. As far as The Raven is concerned, from watching the trailer and reading some reviews I know I will never even watch it.

Sporting events you can watch repeatedly despite knowing the outcome?
Gamecock back-to-back National Championships, ainec....I could honestly watch the final game against Florida last year 1,000 times and still fist pump to some of the defensive magic down the stretch. ***I also fall asleep to poker reruns more nights than not, but poker obv isn't a sport. edit: Who in the hell watches the same movies over and over' This seems pretty ridiculous. I was sleep deprived making my post this morning but oh well, I will stick by most of it. Imho, I think that the player having a nitty image is what makes playing the 23cc not that bad. When deepstacked, I believe the tighter the player the wider your calling range can be and the looser the player the more narrow your calling range should be. Against the tight player, you can range his hands pretty easily post flop and get away cheap or win a monster. Against the loose player, you will have no idea how to range him until turn probably and according how wide his opening range is, he may hit ...

You know how they say "A morning of awkwardness is far better than a night of loneliness."' Well that kind of applies here, the immediate satisfaction will outweigh any regret after the fact. How many opportunities will you get to look up a Rihanna look-alike's skirt in a manner that can't be construed as all that perverted since it was right there in front of your face' edit: Proper etiquette to me, if possible, is to give her the 3 step lag before you begin up the stairs and then walk as far possible to the opposite side of the stairs while keeping the 3 step space.

Sorry Trem, I was having a bad day and just making irrational assumptions. Kyan is suggesting to fold 23cc pre but I don't agree with that. How you describe villain as TAG makes a HU flop here profitable to me even though this suited connector isn't all that valuable in itself. If you don't hit or find a board texture that is believable for villain to fold, then you only lose 100 extra chips to make the call pre. If you hit or can bluff certain board textures that would be in the bb's range, then the pay off is potentially huge compared to the 100. If he had QQ then you got pretty unlucky ...

I imagine the point of this story is to tell us how you goated him into folding the best hand by guessing his hand. So in that case I will say you have a dry 6, maybe 56/A6. c/r the flop for info, ck turn because you know you're beat, then donk river because you just realized you can probably force a fold by betting close to 35-40% of his remaining stack.

How could you blame people for making a deal in a tourney that has this huge of payday and also variance out the ass' Making a FT in that large of field is less than a "once in a lifetime" occurrence and with all the money in 1st-3rd, can't blame them at all. Didn't watch to be able and see the average stack at the time, but I can't imagine it was over 20-30bb or so'

What's the best, worst pain?
From my experience: Worst: Ran over by car and broke tibia bone in half, will always have a titanium rod and 3 screws in my leg. Best: That massive shit that gives you the worst stomach cramps but feels oh so good to get out.(I know, gross but I couldn't think of anything else at the time)

What are the best speeches you can say to encourage your opponent to make a bad call?
Any book that has a section on tells would say that just pushing your chips out there looks weaker and may encourage a call. Or if you say "I'm all in for two hundred and thirteen thousand" instead of just saying all in. Personally I like: "You call it gone be all over baby!"

Need TV series suggestions
Not possible to lose interest in Californication if you take the show for what it is and just enjoy it. As for True Blood, gtfo!! That shit is more feminine than David Fisher, it's like watching that Twilight Blue Moon nonsense but rated R. Math vs Stack Protection
I may be completely wrong here but I don't think you can take full advantage of an edge over the field(I"m assuming you believe you have one) with only a 30bb stack. You have a little more room to maneuver than with a 15bb stack obv but I don't think it's enough to warrant a fold here just because you want to keep a slight edge on the field with 30bb. As played, if you think the BB is competent then call(wider range) but it you believe him to be a weak tight player then fold(narrower range). Also +1 on Tyson's advice, in a situation like this you should always be considering the stack ...
