Re:3-handed deep @ FT and wake up with AA....HELP
any time you slow-play aces (i call it reverse gamble) you have to be willing to lay it down, especially in this hand. you enticed your opponent to stay in the hand and catch something, then even worse called off a huge bet at the end when you should have taken your losses and mucked. if you smooth call pre-flop, you have to raise the flop after your opponent bets to see where you're at. the way you played the hand, you were in the dark the entire time. What did you put him on'

$100 2x chance Turbo PStars when is it not worth it to rebuy?
Blinds are blazing fast (every 5 minutes) and break isn't 'til 1 hr 30 min when blinds reach 625/1250... So, when is it just not worth it to rebuy' Once blinds reach 175/350 and rebuy is less than 10BB, or do you crap shoot it out even when you have 2-4BB's' Any math wiz who wants to break this down in some nerdy graph or chart would be much appreesh.

Re:hmmmm... what would you do in this spot geniuses of the poker world?
if he pushes preflop over my re-raise then i'm calling so i'm not sure if i am truly finding out where i'm at with that move, unless he of course folds. would anyone muck if i reraised preflop and he pushes over the top' (serious question) i would've re-raised if he had a smaller stack but we virtually had the same stack. also, i think my raise on the flop gave me an idea of where i was at.

Deeeeeeeep Question: best answer = $$$$
What would you do if one day you log into your poker account, register for a fatty (like your bfriends...) tourney (250k to 1st), go take a quick piss, get back to see the action's folded to you and you have the 8s 5s in late position and you're like 'sick bro man' and throw out a small raise, but then you realize something you can't ignore. You KNOW the guy behind you has aces, you can just feel it, you can see it... I mean it, you can really see his hole cards, and the other players behind him. You see everything, every card for every hand of every player. Holy ...

Re:Losing Faith (mtt'ers)
Take days off... I think mental health is so important to play at your best that when you have a bad day or go deep in a tourney only to get your heart ripped out (or sucked out), you feel mindfucked. After a bad day of poker results, go hang out with friends even for lunch or something, or do I what I do and go out to the golf course and throw back a six-pack and get your mind off of poker. I do not suggest diving right into a cash game, however, speaking from personal experience. I remember 4 or 5 years ago I played soooo much poker in college (well, I wasn't in college at the time) ...

Re:Smaller tournaments in vegas... advice please
I do think the megastacks is the best little tourney in Vegas right now, but the $340 nightly at the WSOP is pretty decent... Usually 400 players, and 1st prize of close to $50k! Top-heavy payout, so don't play to finish in the money. -"To each his own" -"The harder you work, the luckier you get." -Gary Playa

Re:Hand analysis, deep in $11-Rebuy
geez, a lot of angry advice... keeping it real simple, it's a raise/fold situation when playing online... just calling put's you to a really tough test. you seemingly got a great flop for 10 10 but against higher pp it's the worst flop u want to see (rather see a board of AKJ). what if the flop was qj6 or k95, still put to a very difficult test and when you can't look across the table and get a vibe from the player you're left to make a really poor educated guess
