Re:Firing Bullets - Why it is hard to improve your game
PF - meh, I understand your thinking. F - too big of a bet, 120 is fine T - check behind R - fold to bet, bet if checked, maybe 2/3 pot

Re:Collusion in $225 sng on Stars?
Is it POSSIBLE that 3-better was trying to make a move on you with like 53o just cuz you had equal big stacks (terrible i know) and then didn't realize that i-nobody had only a little left, becuz he didn't go all in i know sometimes i've folded by mistake to a minraise when the raiser only has like 10 chips left and then i kick myself. but the fact that both of these guys are not very good makes it way more likely that this is collusion. i haven't logged as many games at the 200's as some people but it would be interesting to see if thats happened before. otherwise, i ...

Re:ROI Sustainability In Varying Levels of SitnGo's
Ummm pretty sure I just posted 7.4% over 14,000 Games. Isn't that proof right there' Playing 12-16 at a time. And I know we hate each other to death, but imho, bdubs is probably the best out there right now. He could easily hit 8%, but who the hell cares we're trying to make $$, not comparing roi sizes.

Re:ROI Sustainability In Varying Levels of SitnGo's
Hit it right on the head. People should focus on $/Hour INCLUDING rakeback as their targets. I'd gladly have a 1% ROI if I could play 350 tables per day, are you kidding' There's like... maybe 10 very GOOD regulars. Just because somebody plays a lot, doesn't mean they're getting better. The game is still very much beatable. I would say the top 10 regs out there are azntracker BBJohn bdubs3737 bigjoe2003 DDBeast gidders scossett spacegravy stevie444 XbonezX theres probably 40 or 50 more guys who are still good, so don't take personal offense

Re:12-20 tabling sit n gos advice
You "normally" play 9-12, but lately 15-20..and yet you've only played less than 1K games total... Should probably work on improving that ROI before you add more tables.

Maybe bet 350 on the flop but otherwise it's fine. Check turn is standard, and river fold is standard

Re:Typical ROIs for different SNG types
ROI isn't important. $/Hour is. That being said, I have a 8.36 ROI at the $55+5 Turbos over 8K games played this year. However, ROI will/should increase with the fewer games being played. I think the 40% ROI isn't possible, but probably 30% at the Regulars, $5-20 though.

Re:Am I overthinking this all?
Raise pre to 120 instead, and flat his raise. See a flop, and don't be that guy to go broke so early with AK.

Re:Supernova Elite Numbers
-- I incorporated that. I included the $10,000 cash reward as the 1,000,000 VPP reward prize. Might as well take the cash, and decide what you want to do with it yourself.

Supernova Elite Numbers
Hello all, I thought I'd make a helpful guide to those who might be on the fence of whether or not to pursue SuperNova Elite Status on Pokerstars. The numbers at first to appear quite complex, and they are. But I'll try to make a table here to help everyone get a better gage of what it takes to hit Elite, and the perks you will recieve in doing so. ELITE STATUS REQUIRES: $200,000 Paid in Rake (each Tournament $1 = 5 VPP) MONTHLY REQUIREMENTS (assuming two months off for holidays and vacations): $20,000Rake/month MONTHLY ($20,000 Paid in Rake) = 4,000 $55+5s = 2,222 $105+9s = 1,333 ...

Re:Highest possible ROI in $60 turbos over 1k sample size
I'll be the first to admit that SNGs, especially Turbos aren't really a good estimation of "how good" a player is. You're right, they are just bankroll builders, and it's a waste of time to discuss who's best. But if you are certain you are better than me and scossett, you are out of your mind. The quickest and most accurate way to determine who is "best" is $/made, bottom line. Put up or shut up. You realize that by having a 27% stretch of 400, you will MOST LIKELY have a -% for the next 600. You come on here and you say "I'll start by ...

Re:Highest possible ROI in $60 turbos over 1k sample size
lol at you showing a 400 SNG sample size. I played 250 last Sunday alone. You're missing the point anyways, Ship. Who cares about ROI. You told me today you 20 table, which I think isn't true. A person who 20 tables has A) more than 2K total games at the $60s, and B) understands that it's impossible to have a 27% ROI after a respectable sample size, ESPECIALLY when 20 tabling. You ran like God in the SNGs against me, and I think you will be in for a big surprise if you ever start playing more than like 100 a week. ** Just saw your post asking if continuous sets get more games in ...

Re:Highest possible ROI in $60 turbos over 1k sample size
Put your money where your mouth is - High Orbit leaderboard bet next week. And no, you are NOT better than I am. I have almost 10% ROI over 10,000 SNGs playing 16 or more at all times. But ROI is useless as someone said, it's about $/H and I've made $120/h for the whole year. Profit is what defines somebody as "best", which again is irrevelevant. ps. latestlines - gfy, smfb etc. **Just looked at your sharkscope, 2,000 games' Get real.

I just bought a 30" monitor last week, and I can 20 table with very little overlap. The resolution on it is 2560x1600 though. It's badass. ** It's the 30" Gateway that someone mentioned above. Paid for itself within a day.

Re:Highest possible ROI in $60 turbos over 1k sample size
Not to be a dick or anything, but I'm leading this year's $60s by a long shot (unless your name doesn't show up in Sharkscope, I didn't check). And as the best player at this level *I* would say after 1,000 ur ROI can be off anywhere 4-6%. I'll give you an example. So Far This Week ($60s) SNG - 795 Buy in - $47,700 Earned - $54,094 Hours - 33 Profit - $6,394 ROI - 13.40% Wage - $193.75/Hour My *true* ROI at the $60s is 9.5% after 11,000+ games, so you can see that in reality, 1,000 SNGs is really too small of a sample size to tell. And you're not better than ...

Re:SnG heater "brag post"/questions
Your ITM numbers are solid, but ur ROI is a bit inflated right now. At the $60s I believe the top ROI you can hit in the long term (5K+) is 10%, but your 1st,2nd and 3rds are well distributed. My 1st % is 14.10% with an ITM of 39%. Your goal should be do have more 1sts than any other position in the STT, so after 2,000 check again. Gidds

I remember this hand clearly, didn't have to check my records. I had ATs and I figured he had AK or AQ. And Btw, if you are going to fold AQ you should fold AK too.

Re(3): SnG ROI Question
I have just under 7K SNG's across different sites over the past 2-3 years and my average ROI is 15%, with approximately 4,000 SNGs at the $55+5 level. It's attainable to have a 20%+ at the 30's and under, but I agree it's probably much, much easier to attain that at the normal SNGs, not the turbos. Turbos really, really are the best type of SNG for plain cash. It's pretty simple for a winning player. The more you play the more you'll win in the long run.

Re(1): SNG success perspective?
lol - my earlier thread Played a continuous session today for 2 hours and 5 minutes and, if I remember correctly it's probably tops for best session ever. SNGs - 26 1st - 9 2nd - 5 3rd - 3 XXX - 9 Profit - $1,707 Playing SNGs for a living doesn't give you much room on this site for bragging but whatever, I run the $60's. 16% ROI after 1,500 = $15K in 6 weeks. -- I'd say it's pretty good considering its the best session I've ever had... weird stats.
