Backing Controversy with JYMASTER11 (warning very long)
A couple things really amaze me when i read these threads.. 1. How unprepared and short sighted players were, and by players i mean the lot of people who make a living or attempt to make a living at this game... Seeing the events of the last couple of years, and the ever so obvious pressure that the sites were under to workaround and bypass regulations with processors... How is it that so many people had such huge sums of money online.. with such a blatant disregard for the red signals leading up to BF 2. How some of the most successful..(or whom appear to be successful) players ...

deox,,, please no more i am much happier where I am rather than getting a piece of paper and a crap 35k job out of college college is no more than a test you pass along the way.. what you take from it is up to you everyone starts their career somewhere.. i started out of school at 50k at a top level consulting firm. I make 10 times that now. A career takes time to build The short sighted commentary by young bucks here is amazing. Stop valuing where you are today and say wow its much greater than if i wasn't playing poker. maybe it is... but college, a job, career.. .isnt just about ...

Hand vs GBoro in COOP ME, very deep...
with no info on table dynamics... I havent read all responses .. so i assume this was covered,, but against a player this good... i don't want to do 2 things - give him a fairly clear read on my hand - have hard decisions postflop i think the line taken does just that.. he knows you are shoving KK or AA there.. so when you don't you are narrowing down your range, then he is leading any K or A flop now hes beating you when he hits ,, and when an over flops.. your QQ is essentially a set mine, mid pair hand now just shove all in over his last bet... no need to get cute. yes you make him ...

Great NYC restaurants
sorry man... eaten there couple times... scenery is great... service fine... but the food is slightly above avg, and the portions are so small.. you leave absolutely f ing starving... hitting the next street meat vendor or my fav late night deli in brooklyn after your done the restaurant next door in same building.. Tabla (same owner) is 5x times better tell your b in law to put some meat on the plate..

my last 3 echeck withdrawals were reversed because of issues with the payment processor. seems it is getting progressively harder to get money off or stars is just keeping the money there until you lose it.. :)

Holdem Manager - Historical data
Just setup Holdem Manager as i guess i plan on playing a little more and seriously in coming months Historical hands / history.. Is everyone just starting from day 1 with any HH they have saved' or have you guys traded / swapped historical HHs to build the database to a point where you have some usable samples on most players'

If you are going to be paying legit taxes on exact amount you have won... shouldnt matter how much you withdraw.. Although any transaction 10k or up is more likely going to show up for possible review. I would do check withdrawals or bank wires under 5k... and space them out a bit...

Your post is too gloom and doom.... Yes the global economy took a hit.. Yes vegas and gambling institutions took a hit... There are a number of factors contributing to the fish in the poker ocean. But i think its most likely that the eventual regulation of poker making it taxable to the US gov.. The marketing of the game, and the slow return to growth of the worlds economy.. Will offset the difficulties of the current economy, getting money on sites. Please remember that it is not a finite pool of people that play poker and thats it... As people hit the college age and work, make money ...
