Re(3): 60$ dollar sit and go. Advice pls I am not folding here. I like the reraise because I believe you can take it down preflop most of the time and don't have to worry about playing the hand out of position post flop. For 200 early, I at least call. If an A,K or 2 clubs come on the flop I lead out and will put will go all in if bet back at. He does not have AA or KK. If I don't hit, I most likely let the hand go and I still have plenty of chips. It is worth the risk to get chips early. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Oh the ignorance.... ...but you have to like the quote. This is from an article on the Congressional move to ban internet gambling. John Kindt, a business professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who has studied the issue, calls the Internet "the crack cocaine" of gambling. "There are no needle marks. There's no alcohol on the breath. You just click the mouse and lose your house," he said. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(7): BoDogAri I agree with Ari. I think the overbet says two over cards. I think he would call with almost any pocket pair and then play it against another caller if he hits something on the flop. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Bloomberg Article: MGM, Harrah's Press Congress for Piece of Online Gaming Action May 22 (Bloomberg) -- MGM Mirage, Harrah's Entertainment Inc. and other U.S. casino operators are increasing pressure on Congress to consider legalizing online gambling -- at the same time lawmakers are seeking to tighten criminal penalties for it. The companies are trying to take advantage of a congressional backlash against gambling triggered by the Jack Abramoff scandal, involving his lobbying on behalf of Indian casinos. The casinos say the best way to control the $12 billion Internet betting business -- which is based overseas while drawing more than half its revenue from the U.S -- is ... Re(1): paradise 30r, what do u do?? I am thinking that sltv1 is raising in the BB with AQ or Ax to take it down or isolate so those hands are unlikely. They could be slow playing a monster but I doubt it. My guess is j10 or other straight or flush draw so I am not worried about him. It appears that jmsu1 is slow playing a monster from the start. I am thinking AA, KK or QQ with a chance they are playing 99 or 77. I am going to say 70% for AA, KK or QQ and 20% for 99 or 77 since you one of each. 10% he has AQd. Lets say that sltv1 has a flush draw and jmsu1 has 66% chance of AA or KK and 33% chance of QQ. With QQ (33% prob) ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): What to do with stalling players??? It sucked because I was short stacked at the time and was only seeing 4-5 hands between blind escalations. For those who have played a bunch live, what do you do with a slow player' I am sure this is considered poor etiquette. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

What to do with stalling players??? I was playing in a $30 MTT tonight and 2 of the players on the table were intentionally stalling just eto make the money. They were doing it with 60 ppl to go before the money. It took about an hour. It sucked for everyone else at the table who were trying to gather chips. What are your thoughts when you land on a table with a staller' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): UB Customer Service Delays. I understand UB is making changes so they can incorporate some great new features. What I don't understand is why they are relying on Legggggggy, Krazy, Shawn etc to communicate with the players. I have not seen any notes posted on the mainscream. I have not seen any emails. They have not come here to post on P5. If they want to have a relationship with us, they should communicate with us instead of passing notes through you. Communicate, communicate, communicate. People will be much more patient if they know what if going on. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
