Willow Palin called someone a 'faggot.' In today's world, it is quite clear that this is a slur, and a word that should be off limit. At 16, I knew way better than to use slurs. They didn't play badly, they just failed to deliver the knockout blow which could have came either in that opening drive in the third, the drive with 3min left in the 4th, or if Folk had made both fgs. The Browns were absolutely dominated in the second half. Jets were clearly better. Again time of possession was 40:00 to 20:00 Jets. They may be where they should be but then I think the Pats are too high and maybe the Jets were last week as well. Jets go downs 1 spot beating the Browns on the road and clearly outplaying them while the Pats shoot up 6 by just beating the Steelers in a year ...

Gotta disagree with the Jets being 3 spots below the Pats. They weren't shakey against the Browns, they just failed to deliver that knockout blow. Sanchez needs more of a killer instinct which I think he'll get. Had they scored the TD or perhaps not missed a 25 yd fg on that enormous 10 minute drive to open the 3rd, the game was over and the Jets would have looked dominant. They also missed the chance to end it on the last drive when they settled for a short fg. Jets dominated for 13 minutes of the second half and then McCoy credit to him just threaded the needle with some of those passes on ...

It's in a Campus Center. It's so they can close while the center stays open. On another note, I think people have seen and heard so much about police brutality that they now think any extreme force is unjustified if it wasn't 100% necessary. This dude was out of his mind. When you get bum rushed by 4 officers and they are shouting at you to get on the ground, it's super clear what they want. I know it was only 5 seconds or so but it was more than enough time. Especially with a weapon pointed at you. The kid showed no fear of the taser, took a step toward them, and while he may look confused ...

OMG I just called ESPN radio about the JETS/VIKINGS and....
Here it is at 13:20. QB's thumb is in a splint and the whole play just seems funky. Center snaps it too fast and falls forward, paving the way for the recovery. O-line isn't keeping the d honest, and the players behind the QB prob didn't do their job. It took all that for this to happen just one time. Probably, but what if they had run a gadget or got a TD or great return on the kickoff. If that is your team, are you not screaming that the DB should have just went down' I concede it was a small mistake, but I don't think as small as you think it is.

There was almost no rain at that point (I was at the game). The victory formation isn't even really a standard snap, it's more like the center handing the ball to the QB between his legs. I've never ever seen or even heard of it ever being fumbled. The d-line doesn't even rush because it is considered poor etiquette. Plus you have two running backs behind the QB if it ever did happen so it is unlikely it goes for a td. Also as bfactor points out the xp could be blocked/missed and they only need 1 score. I'm aware how unlikely that is, but quite clearly the score/onside kick situation is way ...

Yeah, that was bizarre. I wonder what the rule is though if he fumbles. I would think the play should be over as soon as he gains possession but it looked like they didn't blow it until he left the end zone.

I called to say how dumb it was of Dwight Lowery to not fall on the ball when he made a pick with 1:30 left in the game with Minnesota having no timeouts. If he does, the Jets take three knees and it is over. Instead he ran it in for the pick 6. Minnesota could have scored quick and onside kicked it down 9 with 1:30 left. I know this is super unlikely to happen, but it is possible. They vehemently disagreed with me, said it was ridiculous and I was going to be the last phone in, but they couldn't end the show with that "yo-yo caller." Overall, I'm ecstatic, because there is no higher honor ...
