Re:VIP status on Stars honestly i love sitting at the micro stakes and seeing a gold star + at my table, especially ones that i search and see are playing 15+ tables. i know they are playing a system, and it is very easy to abuse this. playing into them is so much easier because you know their routine, and you know that it is hard for htem to change gears on the spot. stealing pots from these players is 10x easier than stealing from the donks, especially beacuse the donks will just snap call qx pre flop shoves Posted in: Poker Discussion |

bad beats at the start of a session -- how to handle it? ok so i just sat down to start a session about 30 minutes ago, and at the .1/.25 tables i got all my chips in pre 5 times as a favorite, and have only pulled down one of them. obviously this is frustrating, and this has happened to me in the past so i am curious at to how you all handle this situation. i know that if i sit here grinding for the next few hours, my play very well might be affected by this tilting, so im considering just calling it for the night. however, it is frustrating quitting after losing...but i think its the best choice. how do you all handle these scenarios' just plow ... would you fold AA pre here? *thread locked - P5s Staff* (original hand history edited by thread author) DoN, im obviously way ahead in chips and could most likely just afk and cash. one more person busts and the sng is over and i cash. just seeing if you would do it or not (obviously i didnt but im just wondering how many of you would) PokerStars Game #33209422567: Tournament #197979491, $5.00+$0.20 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level VII (125/250) - 2009/09/23 21:55:15 ET Table '197979491 1' 10-max Seat #1 is the button Seat 1: Raybo_1 (1195 in chips) Seat 3: dothog (1335 in chips) Seat 5: GACGopher (2560 in ... Re:WCOOP Main Event "Udon Wannit" (multi-acct. ?) im not denying that it appears to be suspicious, but i think it is unfair of us to discredit what might be a great accomplishment (before something is proven, obviously) for this individual is all. you weren't rude :) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:WCOOP Main Event "Udon Wannit" (multi-acct. ?) how many of you knew of chris moneymaker before he won the WSOP' same concept here. except this guy didn't even win. you're all just jealous imo and taking away from a great accomplishment that someone just achieved. even look at major market sports teams, like the arizona cardinals. nobody expected them to even make the playoffs, yet they nearly won the superbowl. RANDOM EVENTS HAPPEN. people play well at the right times, it happens. congrats to everyone who ft'd this tourney Posted in: Poker Discussion |

...wtf cash games... so my br got sucked out in the micro mtts down to $3, so twenty min ago i deposited another $100. i took the $3 to the 1c 2c nl ring tables, then after moving up eventually to the .10/.25, i turned that $3 into $97.50. so basically i wasted $100 on a deposit Posted in: Poker Discussion |
