The only time that I ever play and drink anymore is when I am playing with just chips instead of real money. When you have nothing really to lose money-wise, you can go get majorly pissed and just have a freaking ball! Drunk plus real money is usually just a huge disaster waiting to happen though, but i'm sure a lot of people do it anyway.

Because apparently the government thinks it's perfectly acceptable to kill or be killed in the millitary at 18, but not be able to gamble a little bit of money in a poker game. Glad to see that the country has their priorites and concerns straight! But hey, i'm just some drunken rambling bum...not like politicians give a rats arse what I think!

21 as the legal age to gamble
As I mentioned in another post just now, why the heck is 21 the legal age to gamble' You can go get lung cancer smoking, vote for crooked politicians, buy bad quality porn, all at the age of 18, so why for fecks sake do you have to wait until 21 before you can gamble' Oh, and what about drinking too for that matter'

Why are so many companies and politicians so anti-gambling anyway' I mean I just can't comprehend what the heck the big deal is, and why people can't just gamble if they want to. Hell, I am even against the legal age of gambling being 21. Let 10 year olds gamble away their allowance money if they want to!

I remember there was this one game that I was playing drunk, and I lost something like $500 dollars before I even realized what the hell I was doing. Also that was the last time that I played drunk I think, not that it should come as much of a surprise to anyone why :D

Whenever I am playing some night and can't seem to win even a single hand, I find myself quitting a lot sooner than I would have otherwise. We all have those nights where nothing at all seems to be working out for you, and those are the nights when it is best to bow out as soon as possible.

I will freely admit that I have played poker a few times while drunk, and it was pretty awful. Not only was I barely able to keep my eyes open, but I found myself making a lot of really bad decisions that I probably would've have even considered while sober. Playing drunk is a baaaaaaad idea from my experience, but don't just take my word for it! ;)

How much is too much for you?
After playing at a table for a while and having a string of bad luck, how long does it take for you to decide that it is time for you to call it a night' Do you have to get frustrated enough, or just get a bad feeling about continuing on that night, losing a certain amount of money or what'

Have you played poker while drunk before, and what was your experience like' Did you find yourself to be playing a lot more gusty and daring than you would have been otherwise, or were you as reserved as usual' What about your level of focus, and did you find yourself not caring as much about a games outcome'

That sounds really fishy to me, especially since Comcast has usually come to bat for their customers in regards to privacy issues in the past, but I really couldn't say if something has changed there or not. Comcast has a monopoly in most regions now, so I suppose anything is possible these days...but I would certainly hope they aren't keeping customers from playing poker.

The processing time truly can vary a bit for whatever reasons, so just try not to panic if the transfer ends up taking a bit longer than you had expected it to. At least feel comfortable that Full Tilt Poker is a reputable site, so you should have all the money showing up before too long.

Oh man, I have certainly seen more than my fair share of bad dealers over Full Tilt Poker...but for every bad one, I have also come across one who was halfway decent. What really annoys me is when a dealer takes forever to do something, every single time they are up!

Sometimes the worst sites end up lasting a lot longer than they deserve to, and you may keep wondering to yourself "How the heck is this place still in business, when they suck to titanic porportions'" Not saying that is or is not Pitbull poker, since I never used it before...but it could be lol

Well, I don't! What is the point in playing Monday morning, especially if you had been up all night and have bloodshot eyes, and then have work in a few hours' I have been there too many times, and it still is never fun with poker or without. You get that tired, and you'd probably fall asleep while playing!

So this was website based poker, instead of some downloadable software client' How long was this place around for, and would you say that the game was fun enough while it lasted, despite the controversies which apparently ended them for good' Either way, so glad I didn't end up losing a bunch of money at that place!

One thing that I really like about playing at night is that the games seem more laid back to me, although everyone is still very focused on getting some wins out there. More than anything, I like to play my poker for fun...and as long as I get a few good hands a night, I am perfectly content with myself.

I have never so much as heard of Pitbull Poker before, nor about how good or bad it was. Have any of you used Pitbull Poker, and how good of a program would you say it was' Would you say that it was roughly on par with the bigger players such as Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars'

While I am not completely against playing poker during the daytime, it is a secret to nobody that I far prefer playing at night, largely for the reasons that I have already mentioned in my earlier post. Staying focused on the game is everything to me, which means I can't risk distractions.

Hey guys...I am still really fuming about the outcome of this game :( Carolina looks to be cooked for the season if this keeps up, and Dallas played a very strong game. Although I was cheering for Carolina, I do feel that the Cowboys deserve some probs...even if i'm still mad at the outcome :(

As a general rule of thumb, any Football game involving the Cowboys and another team...I am ALWAYS going to hope the other team wins. Cowboys are the freaking Yankees of NFL Football, and I hate them just as much! So yeah, Panthers over the Cowboys any freaking time! PS: I actually like the Panthers anyway, so i'd probably cheering them on regardless.

My answer to this thread is the same answer I would give to any question involving Full Tilt Poker and a different program: Stick with Full Tilt Poker, as frustrating as it may get at times, there really isn't anything else that I liked better than it. Good luck no matter what you do though!

For those who try to schedule set times for playing poker, or at least having a preferred time to play, what is it' I generally find myself playing late at night usually, just because it's quieter and that makes it a lot easier for me to just focus on playing, with less distractions. How about you'

Within the past few years, I have definitely grown to prefer playing my Poker online. Why you may ask' Simply because I can play from the comfort of my own home whenever I want to, and there are always different players to hold a game with. Offline poker just can't match that kind of stuff!

So the cards can even be reloaded with more money after use' That just makes them even better, and it makes me wonder why anyone would bother using a regular Credit Card online at all, when you have an alternative like this available to use. Thanks again!

I am broke and sad anyway, but I would certainly be moreso without my Full Tilt Poker to keep me entertained! Poker has always been my favorite card game since I was a kid, and thanks to Full Tilt...I can play whenever I want to!

Which do you prefer: Online Poker or Offline?
Okay so, I am pretty sure that almost everyone at these forum plays at least a little bit of online poker. Chances are also that many of these same people have played offline poker as well. My question for all of you then, is which type of poker do you prefer' Both online and offline poker have their advantages, but which do you like better and why'

LOL I see what you did there! Okay,okay...I admit that Pokerstars is very good as well, but the fact remains that I still find myself preferring Full Tilt Poker over the other programs out there. To be fair though, I would probably have to say Pokerstars is my second favorite program, but I still like FTP a tad more.

Were it not for FTP, I may never have gotten into online Poker at all! I just think FTP has just about the best interface of all Poker programs that I have used, and everything is quick and easy to figure out and get used to. Some people may not like Full Tilt, but it has always been my favorite anyway.

I have used Pokerstars and Fulll Tilt, but I never tried Party Poker or Cake(never even heard of that last one), but still I don't really feel comfortable using Credit online, but that seems to be the only funding method that many of these poker places are accepting. Ahh well, looks like I will have to deal with it if I want to play poker online lol
