Re(3): Rate My Bluff from PCA
I don't even see the point of Mkinds original post. He's obviously not listening to any of the people offering their arguments why this was a terrible play, and we all know that unless you are ranked in the top 20 he will just insult you anyways if you say anything critical about his play. You picked what sounds like the worst player possible to run this kind of bluff against, and as far as your perceived range crushing him goes... if he truly is the terrible novice player you think he is he has no clue what a range is to begin with. I suppose you just wanted some kind of sympathy and pat ...

Re(3): So rigged - P5s server outage when i get my first win on stars for months!!!
For what its worth, crancer is a very good friend of mine that I know IRL and I know he was quite upset you laid down the AKs. I told crancer myself "with your loose image there's no way he folded AKs, if he had that, he'd definitely play you allin" on the hand that he did infact have KK on :) Then you said in the chatbox there's no way he had KK cause his raise was so big, and crancer was all frustrated he was telling me on MSN "I know I play loose but it pisses me off when people won't believe me when I actually did have a hand!!!!" hahaha Well played and good job on taking it down.

Re(5): Hand at blue chip casino, isn't this really wrong?
I play all the time in Tunica and the rabbit hunting part sounds totally standard. Some dealers won't do it, but most will if you ask nicely, unless the other party in the hand objects. If I want to see the river but the other guy in the hand says no, then the dealer won't put out the river card. Seems standard to me.

If I was using your way of keeping track of my wins and losses I'd probably have shot myself a long time ago as I wouldmost likely never had a winning session. I buy in for 2k in a game, I run it up to 5k, I lose back so I have 3500 total and I leave the casino. GOD DAMN I JUST LOST 1500 AGAIN, ANOTHER NIGHT OF LOSING BUT THESE WADS OF HUNDREDS KEEPS GROWING WTF I SUCK I LOSE EVERY SESSION :( life tilt

Re(3): The definition of Floating?
Definitely with the intention to take it away, whether that happens or not. I personally float on occasion and then with more information on the turn (mainly in live games) I even muck without making a move at the pot, but I'd still guess it would be called a float albeit an unsuccessful one.

Re(3): Did live poker f$%k up my online game?
I've been out in Vegas and played the 5/10 and 10/20 (and 10/25) apretty good bit and I've mainly played live last month. I log ononline from the hotel and I was amazed at the level of play and theconsiderable difference. Just playing shorthanded 2/4 and 3/6 NLon Stars, I'm getting 3-bet and 4-bet left and right, forced into adecision every hand and this amazing LAGginess (but in a good way) isjust so much different and so much harder to play against than the liveplayers. I'm not sure if I picked a bad hour to come back and play (I used to play these games a ton, 3k hands a day) but it was ...

Stacking chips in live play
So, I have a weird question when it comes to stacking your actual chips in live play. Does anyone have any fun variations on it' I almost always end up stacking mine in a triangular fashion with 4 behind then 3, 2, 1 forming a triangle and then start a new "triangle" on top. This way it makes it easy in 2/5 NL knowing all your bottom set of chips is $1k and if you complete the whole pyramid up on top it is $2k in $5 chips. I always do this, or I stack them in 40's high tightly together. I get bored a lot at the table and I constantly think of creative ways to stack them because I'm always ...

Re(4): WSOP to double starting stack:
I haven't looked at the blind structures myself, just going on what I've read, and isn't he absolutely right' So what is funny about the post' From what I read they cut the first level, then the rest of the structure is completely identical. So basically you lose one level for 10k chips, that was far from what Stars did when they went to 10k blinds. They made every level exactly 4x what it used to be with 4x the starting stack, right' Which meant it had no purpose whatsoever except "making you start with 10k". With the WSOP structure, if I understood it right, it makes a very big difference.

Re(4): WSOP chip starts doubled.. but so did the Main event blinds..
I assume it is the same as the "freebuy" they use in other live tournaments, and for PLO I kind of like it. If it is the same, you just get a rebuy (or addon if you wish) you can take at any time. For the ones who like deepstacking they add on right away and play with 20k chips, or you can use your first 10k to gamble with and if you go broke then you still have a 'rebuy'. I honestly like it, although they had the same freebuy thing for a limit triple draw event in Oklahoma and I couldn't understand that, blinds were so low up until level 3 no one went broke so there was no need for the ...

I dont play much 4/8 anymore but I remember those games actually being harder to beat than what it seems like, with so many people always drawing sure you will win some monster pots on occasion but you will also lose a a shit ton of insane outdraws.

Re(3): The term "Pwn"
I thought pwned was just a phrase that became funny because people always misspelled it unintentionally at first... I know on the online game I used to play years and years ago (Meridian 59) people would unintentionally misspell own to pwn, help to hlp etc and then people started using them as catch-phrases all the time.

No point in this push imho, no matter how the hand is played all the money is going in the pot. No matter what, he won't fold AA. Not at low stakes anyway. And as somebody said, you miss out on the people continuationbetting QQ or overplaying AK, he might even get to fold AK here (doubtful but maybe)

The casino I play at a lot in Tunica, Goldstrike, I believe has quad tens or better beat for the bad beat jackpot... imagine how frustrating it'd be to have this happen and not get the big jackpot (although that beat 7s beat by str flush still qualifies for a "mini" jackpot)

I have to disagree I think it is a fairly poorly playedhandpostflop. I'd probably make the same preflop call but Iwouldcheckfold after that flop bet. He definitely has a hand thathasme smoked more often than not. Even against A Jc or A Qcthoseare pretty much the only hands you beat that still have plenry ofouts, only one you are in really good shape against is AK. So I honestly would fold the flop after that big bet. I just think people stack off with sets too often just because "its a set and any set over set is a cooler" I was playing really badly today in a livesession, 2/5 NL I limped ...

Re(3): Difference between 1-2 NL and 2-5 LIVE
Down here in Tunica I'd hardly say the 1-2 NL and 2-5 plays the same. The 1-2 has opening raises anywhere from $6 to $25 with usually the most common opener being $10 and the average stack is probably $250-300 on the table. A couple short stacks a couple people at $800+ and the pots are usually not that big. It's more of a slow and steady type game, imo. Then the 2-5 NL plays like a 5-10, really deep stacks most of the time (for a 2-5 anyway) with usually a couple people sitting with $5k+, the average probably well over $700 at least. The opening raise anywhere from $25 to $60 and a lot more ...

FTOPS satellite question, multiple wins?
If this has already been asked, I apologize, I couldn't find it. If I win multiple entries to the same event, do you get tokens or cash or anything' I wouldn't try to qualify for it since I don't know for sure but it can sort of involuntarily happen when I've won two seats to other FTOPS events and then want to play $215 that'll enter you into all events. It wouldn't hold the same value to me if two events won't get credited for it since I already have seats. I tried reading on too but couldn't find it, anyone know'

Re(4): Can u flip your cards up during the hand?
I thought the TDA rules at least stated that hand does never go dead in a tournament, no matter when you expose it. You can receive penalties, starting out at a warning, then a 10 minute, then higher and so on and so forth but it never goes dead. In cashgames, at least here in Mississippi you can flip up your hand if it is head up and play your hand face-up on the table.
