Fold or call off stack??
I guess my point behind the math was... Do I have enough outs to call assuming he has me beat at this point to win this more times than not. It may seem trivial and be a stupid post but I was honestly looking for opinions.

I know its ok to play tourneys with friends and/or family but what about sngs. I just sent a tilt gift certificate to my father who has had his account for a couple years but ran dry and laid off playing the last few months. Its his birthday and he wants to play in a 6 or 9 man sng with me. As much as I would like to I am hesitant even though were 1000 miles apart and have always enjoyed competing against each other be it scrabble, chess or poker. Would the occasional sng be a big deal' We have played sngs in the past but not right after a sent him a gift certificate.

where do you buy the small tourney tickets????
I notice theres an option to buy into $5 and $10 sngs with tourney tickets but I dont see these denominations being sold in the FTP store

yes if you have a 50 bonus the first 50 you pay in rake will not be counted in your rake back. In other words if you pay 75 in rake this week you would only get rakeback on 25. This is also true with freerolls and ftp store. If you enter a free roll with a 100 prize pool and 100 people enter it you would have a $1 deduction against your mgr, 200 enter you would be deducted .50 cents. Ftp store is dollar for dollar so if you get a monitor that worth 250 you would have a 250 deduction on your mgr. Understand mgr is not rakeback its total rake paid. my bro in law cant win any kind of tourney structure stt or mtt but he crushes heads up cash. Hes rich and has no regard for money so bets like a complete sicko. His reckless style gets him out quick in tournies but does the opposite in HU cash. Ive seen him on multiple occasions run 500 to 10k in a night. Personally I cant play like that I just dont have it in me, If I had his money maybe I could. I think it takes a certain type of recklessness to be successful at HU cash.

taking into account I raised 7k from utg Im def. representing strength and she ships. That in itself could be an argument that she was on AA. Not that Im saying I should have layed it down. The fact Im betting into her after the flop was why I considered her to have to possibly have QQ. I thought she just wanted to shut it down where as I thought she may play AA as a trap she was perfectly positioned to play it as a trap.

let me rephrase a little. They hit the nut when you have the preflop goods. You miss every AK, when you do hit your opponents binks a set, when you finally get a high pp some one has a higher one and if they dont they flop 2 pair with any two cards. If you dare bet for value you always get burned. I think somewhere I pissed off the poker gods if I had just $1 for every bad beat Ive taken in the last few weeks Id be rich. Really want feed back on how to combat. This is not a bad beat post just want to hear from people who have gone through variance that went to absurdness.

Let me start by saying I am not a newbie and have logged over 10k games. I feel lately like Im in the Hold em twilight zone. It seems no matter what 2 cards my opponents call with the deck slaps em in the face. Im really at a LOSS FOR WORDS. Ive lost over 100 avg buy ins in a 2 week period. after not having a losing week in over a year. just need some reassurance

Ok This Is tough cause I like alot but here it goes in no particular order 1. Shawshank Redemption 2. Braveheart 3. Gladiator 4. Raiders of the lost ark 5. Predator/Terminator are tied Of course some of these dont have the same effect watching for the 100th time but these are the movies I remember being completly wowed by at first viewing.

passion of the christ is far from my favorite movie but is the only movie I seen twice in the theater other than the original starwars when I was kid. That movie moved me and Im not a holy roller.
