Taylor Caby is an online poker legend, and considered by many to be one of the most influential personalities in the industry. Known for his superstar poker skills, knack for entrepreneurship and honesty in business, Taylor began his career with a $35 deposit on UltimateBet and worked his way up to the highest-stakes games in the world.

While attending the University of Illinois, "Green Plastic" and Andrew "muddywater" Wiggins founded CardRunners.com from their dormitory room. At the time, Taylor had already gained a loyal fan base through his high-profile cash game play versus "mahatma" and other superstar players. CardRunners would go on to become the most popular poker training website in the world; helping tens of thousands of players improve their game.

Taylor's most famous PocketFives thread was titled I Want A Student in October '06. Less than a month later, Taylor would announce in this PocketFives article that he had selected Ryan Daut44 Daut to be his student. In January 2007, Ryan Daut would win the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure for over $1,500,000.
