Been a While
Just wanted to check in and say hi. I saw a bunch of P5'ers at the WPT Borgata Open. Since I moved up north this summer, I have played sparingly in the online community and have been primarily focused on cash games in New York and Atlantic City. Hope you are all well and winning lots of money. One thing i can say for certain is that since I have expanded to mixed-games, all games are much more enjoyable. Adam

FINAL TABLE - STUD TOURNEY - FIRST TIME!
First time playing a stud tourney. Read a book on it and wanted to try it out. Final table first time! COOL! Not a big one. $44 tourney on party....but i really like it win or lose. wish me luck! short on chips and need to get lucky.

Re(3): beating low limit holdem
Play really tight. Don't call raises with A-10 through AJ on the button when there is a position 1-3 raise. Bet your hands and dont get cute. Str8 forward tight poker will yield very positive results. Preppare for crushing suckouts as many people call down with any pair and sometimes hit bottom trips or bottom 2 pair and you dont see it coming. THey are good for the game. Just play at a limit where you can stand some swings.

At first when he explained to the doctor that he needed the large growth on his neck removed, the nurse in the room got very uncomfortable since she thought Scott was talking about his head and asking for a very messy and illegal Kevorkian-like surgery. Once he explained he was talking about the smaller growth everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Gotta be clear with the MD's bro!

Nice job Scott. It was time that your hands didn't get cracked and you won a big tournament. Now you don't have to worry about having your health insurance cover the breast augmentation you've been thinking about for so long. That's got to be a relief. See you on south beach.

The 100/200/300 game had Nick Schulman, Alaiei (spelled wrong sorry), Farha, Laak and a guy from the Borgata i recognized (don't know his name - russian guy). I thought it was Quinn Do also playing but I could be wrong. Some others there though I don't know their names. Good luck Taylor.

My cash game was 2 away from Alaiei, Schulman, Farha and others playing 50/100 NL. Alaiei has such a calm and cool deameanor and made some of the nastiest value bets when the board looked threatening.

WSOP and Cardplayer
Well - the 3K Limit Event didnt go as well as I wanted. Happy with my play but no cash. Although I did feel like a minor celebrity when Cardplayer put my picture and name on the website. That made me look like a pro to my mom. :)

I had 200 chips left in a 1500 person Party Poker limit tournament with not even enough to complete the BB. I won the tourney. All skill obviously.

I have played 8 tourneys in a row (mostly live) where I have gotten within 10 spots of the money and lost a key race to get knocked out. And can't win in cash. Been going on for a couple months now. It has lasted months for me. Just need to ask if you are still playing well.
