Profiling A Player
The first person to write they take little to no notes during there games. I have attempted taking note but i find it takes my focus away from the game. Plus i would rather keep a mental note similar to in a live poker situation. Is anyone like that or is note taking essential to being a successful low-mid stakes sng/mtt player'

Understanding Table Dynamics by NSINGER
This article - / Who has found that reading this article to help improve there game, at what percentage of low to mid stake players can this be used on' I find this part of the article important "One of the things I do that works extremely well against bad aggressive players is three-betting small with big hands and then making atypically small continuation-bets on flops, as these players will almost always think you're weak because that's not something that they would ever do with a big hand. You can then make uncharacteristically big bets on later streets and they will pay you off, as ...

Pocket 2s, should i call this preflop reraise???
No not that...being that my opponent opt to reraise and then shove as opposed to shoving all in preflop, do my pocket 2s play against both options, either folding or pushing him all in.

Pocket 2s, should i call this preflop reraise???
I knew once my opponent put in half his stack he was comitting himself to his hand. With him having 10bb, his range being 22+, A2s+, A2o+, K9s+, KTo+, my hand plays so so against his range but most of the time yes my pocket 2s will be crushed by his range. But being the fact that i had him well covered, he was short stacked and the potential to bust out a player from the tournament i saw this as the correct call.

My line of play with QQ...
I agree i over think at the micro stake mtts, i need to think on there level-level 0 and level 1. Smaller preflop raise' im raising 3xbb=480, at what blind levels should i start knocking back my usual 3xbb raises to 2.2-2.5xbb raises' I can see it both ways, i raise preflop he calls, i cbet the flop (if he calls me cbet i would have evaluated on the flop and should fold and if he reraises my cbet its any easy fold on the flop from me) With a check raise i did on the flop it was to knock him off a middle pair holding or a raggy ace holding but being micro stakes alot of them find it hard ...

Alot of you guys/gals are still grinding 4-5 days a week, dont you find that tired for the next day at work' I think there has to be a balance for both...one you cant let your poker lag and two you cant let your work/studies lag.

Bye Bye MTTs :(
Im the same i work fulltime and when/if i do play my mtts i finish at between 11pm-1am in the morning, so the only real time for me is on a sick day/day off or the weekend. I have tried cash games which i dont like and have tried out the 9man sngs but i still end up playing mtts which i love the most so its really a balance you need imo. Gl with it all thearthurdog and well see you back on the mtt bandwagon some day no doubt :-)

My line of play with QQ...
I agree with what your saying i feeling that i over think the micro/low stake mtts and thats what gets me into trouble more times then none. What level of thinking should i be thinking at, i mean being micro stakes you will have some players that can play but majority of them are novices, etc but when they check raise or reraise i take this that they have something 99% of the time and if they just check/call then there weak-can anyone please clear this part up for me'

My line of play with QQ...
The blinds are 80/160, so preflop raising to 360 (3xbb) is to big' yes i do adjust my raises to 2.2-2.5vbb but thats not until the blinds get alot bigger, why at what blind level should i be downsizing from the normal 3xbb to 2.2-2.5xbb' A continuation bet on the flop then if he comes over the top of me i would have folded my QQ but yes a stupid line i opt to check raise on the flop thinking that i could possible get him off a raggy ace and if he did have an AJ+, most certainly a AQ+ hand he would have reraised me preflop' But then as ive heard alot of people say that in micro/low stake ...
