big flip deep in 3$ 60k
alright well in response to both my hand post and this one I won't argue with uga. Had I won my flip, I would have never posted my hand (AJ v 99) and probably have shipped the tourney. With your hand luckierno, easy 3bet with intent to call a shove you would think. No problem with your play here. Yet, I wonder whether it's smarter to limit pre flop play more in low stakes than it is in higher stake tourneys. High stake tourneys clearly have more pre flop action, but there's also a line of respect in those tournaments as all of them, well the majority, are thinking players. Players are willing ...

Big flip deep in tourney, worth it?
thanks all, ----def agree with luckierno's thoughts...as I was leading toward the same conclusion. More importantly than just the details of this hand, I was wondering about big coin flip pots in the late stages of a tournament. I feel as though I could have continued to work my way up instead of risking that much on a call where I couldn't be sure I was ahead. good stuff guys , appreciate it

Big flip deep in tourney, worth it?
There are 60 left from roughly 1600 ppl. Im like 14th in chips. I've been opening frequently, hence why I called here w / AJ. My question is, at this point in the tournament, should I fold here and continue to accumulate chips with minimal risk, or go for the kill by calling and potentially winning this pot' Had I won this flip, I would have been top 5 stack with like 50 ppl left. The hand crippled me and now I'm wondering if it was the correct play. What is the best play here' Thanks everyone who responds. $10+$1 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level XXIII (1250/2500) - 2010/09/18 1:28:07 ET Table ...

Re:FINAL TABLE HAND..FOR ALMOST ALL THE MARBLES--WHAT DO I DO?
I ended up calling here with the straight. Guy flopped the flush with Queen Jack Clubs. Pretty well played by him, especially since he didn't bet the turn. He raises flop or bets turn its an easy fold for me. I'm just sick over this hand. As I look back on it, I think the best play would have been checking the river and calling his value bet. I probably would have lost a lot less and I also pick up the pot in case he's making a bluff at it. He pushes all in on the river and I didn't bet, well that would have been a horrific spot as well. By the way, I knew he didn't have 4 ...

Re:Hand Help 9 dollar 360 man on stars
Personally, I'd get away from it. He could have AJ, AQ, AK or any big pair...in which case you're dominated. At best, you're racing. Fold.

Re:This hand is haunting me....bubble...one seat before final table...call for everything?
alright....i ended up folding...I thought he may have had AA or KK because the other two people hadn't acted yet...he later told me he had AK, i agree though i think i should have made that call...I would have been in position to win as u say and also i ended up getting knocked out in 7th anyways with a marginal hand
