Re:Letter from Sen. Debbie Stabenow (MI) Well, at least it sounds like she knows what she's talking about. I have contacted two congressmen from Michigan, Levin and Stupak and have ZERO support for either one of these two. What frustrates me more then this is that the only Michigan representative to sign on as a co-sponsor for any of this legislation is Conyers. It's ironic that with the unemployment rate so high in Michigan and auto companies getting BILLIONS from the government, when a legitamate opportunity to generate tax income comes up, these SOB's don't do anything!!! Re:***Sorel throws down the Gauntlet to LIL??*** Would be fun to watch, but basically having one punk calling another punk a punk, makes me laugh. What I hope they do is keep these posts and read them in 10 years and realize how stupid they sound. I would like to see if all tourney's entered and what they earned in each day for day for about a month. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Here's a reply from Senator Feinstein I say FK her!!! It's PROHIBITION. Regulate it, tax it, impose safe guards and stay away from banning individual freedoms. What a bitch!!! Some people feel they can impose their moral values on society. But yes. Thank you for posting the response. At least you have a definate answer on where she stands. Posted in: Poker Legislation |

Re:Response from Washington state sen. Rick Larson Re: online poker Scott, Well at least you got a good response. I personally don't mind that states pass laws for these types of things (even though I think it is crap). I hate the fact that the federal government effectively are using PROHIBITION to take away our rights. State laws are much easier to change and Lee Russo will make that happen. If states make things illegal at least you can move to another state. I'd move to another state if I wanted to play bad enough but who the hell wants to leave the country!! Re:Kyl and Bachus respond to HR 5767 These people piss me off everytime I hear them talk. It is PROHIBITION period. It didn't work in the 20's and won't work today. What I would rather this piece of shit say is, I understand that US Goverment had to pay billions because we didn't support the WTO and I understand we are losing billions every year because we don't regulate and tax. But we'll find better ways to piss away YOUR TAX PAYER MONEY. The people are in for a eye opener when voting comes through. I get pissed off just writing this again!! Posted in: Poker Legislation |

Re:I have sad news about hacking/rigging/stealing or whatever you want to call it..... Forget the 15-21 year olds smart ass comments on here. They'll grow up (hopefully soon) I absolutely believe this can and does happen. I also think that with the right technicians they can find out who did this. They'll get there due. There must be someway to prevent this. Poker yes, but what about all your banking information, etc... Be careful as whoevers doing this could probably easy could get do identity theft. Re(1): lilholdem954 on life tilt or has a grudge?? A week or two ago he had a post and was answering everyones questions now a thread like this. He seems like a good guy. Maybe something personal we don't know about, but I would think as many tournies as some people play bound to be runner runner bad beats often. I'd say don't read to much into it. I watched him win his seat in the 650 WSOP and was an absolute monster at his table. Definately has the skill Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): LAPT Rio - Is it even worth it? If you have a chance to go to RIO to play poker....GO. If you have a chance to go to RIO..GO. Re(1): Imper1um Posts apology for FTP scandal on his betfair blog I thought this was a very good post also. Being 21 (younger at the time) definately allows for some mistakes. I hope people let go and move on from this one. For those that don't, oh well, most will think differently in X amount of years. I would think that if you play online poker like you play live poker, most of these situations wouldn't come up. Seems simple...but maybe not when you're 16-24 and have a chance to make life changing money. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Online poker in the USA I think over turning state laws is going to be a lot more difficult then over turning the Federal Government position. Case in point is the Lottery. States are allowed to differ ... that is what America is Supposed to be about. That way if you don't like it, you can move to a different state, not a different country. I hope for both..but right now I hope the Federal Government allows me to keep my rights. I'll gladly move to a different state. Posted in: Poker Legislation |

Re(1): Goodbye poker...it should be banned Johnny I wish you luck getting it together. What I ABSOLUTELY HATE is for someone (US Government) telling me what I can and can't do in the comfort of my home. I play for very little, so don't have to worry about losing a lot. If it doesn't work for you, don't play. Banning yourself is a good first step. But you'll play somehow if you desire. Should we ban booze because people drink themselves to death' Should we close McDonalds because people get fat' I'm so EF'n tired of people that don't take responsibilities for their actions and downfalls attempt to BAN things or make them illegal. If you honestly believe this I actually feel sorry for you. Your entire life must be spent looking someone out to get you. WOW...thought this type of mentality was just in the movies. Re(1): How are high stakes pros getting around the law? Just a guess, but I would think that they DON'T HAVE US banks. Why would they' Everytime you take money back you pay taxes on something the US government doesn't want to let you do. SCREW THEM!!! Get a bank in Europe with an ATM card, etc... and you're all set. Then when they're up 200K or 300K, just send it to that bank. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
