mtt players check raising rivers
I think if you start betting smaller on rivers, then you open yourself up to being c/r light by good players. Your hand is kinda face up and non nutted. I think it could be effective vs straight forward opponents, but anyone that is capable is gonna exploit you.

mtt players check raising rivers
Good post Ape. I can agree 100% with just about everything you said. I would def be betting the turn vs any thinking player, and betting it big. River is about 50/50 for me as far as chking it back or betting it.(player dependent) If you bet it, I think you must bet it big at least 60% of pot(which you did). Your line can basically never get shoved on light on river. Or at least not enough to make this a bet/call river. And the range calling you is gonna be "hero calls" and better hands.(so bigger the better imo) Its ok to value own yourself once in a while. IF you dont, then your not going ...

EPT turn spot with set and ~PSB behind
I'm pretty sure in spots like this live where you have his range absolutely pigeon holed to kk aa its ok the chk back turn. And make a live read on river..also i dont make it so big on turn either. Ive found that even old guys can fold KK AA if you raise too big. Id prlly make it around 8.5ish. If he snap piles the river I think its safe to say he prlly has KK..if he chks put it in.. doubt shoving turn can be too bad tho

Event #13 AQo vs reg ~37BBs eff..HJ vs SB
Close spot with no information..his full 3x 3b looks kinda fishy. Is he a winning player' I would expect a smaller sizing to induce a shove, instead of scaring one away. I might just hero fold this time and try to get some more information on him.

HSMTT 1k interesting all in spot..
Sorry for late reply, but i was at this table and I think the AK is a fold here with how the dynamic was going. I found myself asking what range I would call with and I think the snap by the 2nd guy made it clear that AK was behind. Not to mention chips were ez to come by at that table.

Railtard1/DDfromDS is a SCAMMER
Dont know Railtard1 or have ever had any communications with him, but this is another example to the community of why not to transfer funds with people that you dont know personally. Unfortunately, there are people in the game of poker that live a more degenerate gambling lifestyle. Shit happens, people make mistakes. Hope he can recover, and pay everyone back. It would be a stand up thing to do. Admit your mistakes like a man, and pay people what you owe.

Live cash game wwyd?
I dont mind betting the turn here at all..You are still pretty deep on the turn and I think you get a fold enough times to warrant this bet. Plus you still have a lot of equity with an OESFD. I prlly jam the turn raise here. You still have plenty of fold equity and I think he can still fold the turn enough times to make a jam profitable. I dont really like flatting the 135$ raise on the turn, but it is certainly an option. If you had 700 behind, I would surely flat the raise and bink the river. His raise on the turn is a little weird, his range reps like q9 a set or he might donk raise turn ...

And our hu match was gonna come down to who was gonna cooler who. Fortunately I coolered Jon pretty bad the last hand. I had a great time and feel like I made some new friends that i can share a pretty awesome life experience with.Thx everyone for the support!!!!!!!!
