how +ev is the sunday million?
The variance is why you need to play a ton of tourneys other than the Sunday Mill but playing any tourney that you're rolled for w/ a ton of donks and a shot at big money that is going to be a +EV move.

For anyone who thinks pokerstars % paid in a tourney is outrageous
Life-changing money at the top to bring in the pros and lots of small payouts at the bottom to bring in the fish and decent players gets the biggest field sizes and the most dead money. The last thing the poker world needs is there to be so much money at the top and so little at the bottom that you have to go through a zillion great players to get anything out of their tourneys. That's how to get the games to dry up.

poker_in_pb a bot???
He's been a fantastic sng player for years so I doubt he'd risk turning that account into a bot when he could just play amazing. That said maybe he would bc he would be able to use that reputation as a believable excuse.

Anyone else's ESPN blank?
lolz at them advertising this for 4 months and having this happen. Hopefully now the ratings will go way down and ESPN will think it's bc Norman Chad is so bad they need to replace him.

hellmuth is an idiot.
Ignorant, only of social etiquette. Arrogant, you probs would be too if you had all those records. Bad ambassador, his book sales, dvd sales and invitations to countless fantasy camps say otherwise.

They were also won in the pre-online satellite era which means almost everyone in the tournaments knew how to play. No Steps winners to pick on.

SNG Turbo or Reg?
Jennifear wrote something good on that where she basically said if ur strength is push/fold, play turbos and if not play regulars. I'd google it for u but I'm paying attention to the WSOP.

hellmuth is an idiot.
I think it's common knowledge among those of us who've been around that he's a completely different dude when he's talking about poker than he is when he isn't. Everyone who knows him personally will tell you he's a really good dude who just cares about poker so much that he can't control his emotions. Also, how stupid can you be and still win 11 bracelets and have records for cashes and fts at the wsop too'

HU Sngs vs HU cash
husngs are systematic after the first few blind levels and hu cash is the most advanced, purest form of poker there is once you get to high enough stakes. If you learn to play great in the early levels of husngs and then play unexploitably later, you'll be a very rich man. HU cash takes a lifetime to learn super well unless you have all day to play. There's a Moshman book out on hu cash and the SAGE pushing chart for husngs ftw. I'd also get PokerVT to watch Negreanu play hunsgs if you wanna learn a simple way to play the early levels from the most entertaining guy who teaches the concept, ...

how funny is watching Jean-Robert Bellande play poker.......
fkn tilting that there are people who don't know how to behave in public. you learn that stuff in middle school. i'll admit i tell donks off from time to time online but that's online when no one even remembers what gets said and it's actually so i get other frustrations out w/o ever having to criticize people live.

Players with huge volume and huge cashes but marginal (at best) ROI
If that's really not a ton of games, how many is' 99.99999% of people in the world don't play 12k tourneys in their lives.

helping some1 go from a recreational player to some1 who wants to play seriously
Coaches at the old sngicons training site used to have their students start w/ small stakes 45-mans and 4 table continuously so they could get used to multi-tabling and take notes. They also had them use sngwizard to learn icm and gave their own personal input on good play with stacks of more than 10 bbs.

Info on 4.40 180 man.
If you're as good at turbos as non-turbos, you'll get a ton more games in and thus make more money. There's a Jennifear article that helps ppl decide whether they should play turbos or non-turbos. /

Bot or Heavy Satty Player?
I'm actually surprised more of this doesn't happen. Especially in the steps satties. There are so many more soft spots in the top level satties than the top level sngs bc of people who've gotten in through 6-7 dollar steps.

Min Raise?
I'm no big winner but two things jump to mind. 1. Negreanu's Small Ball strategy at Poker VT. The kind of players who play the Super Tuesday are generally subscribers to a ton of training sites. 2. They're just also good so they don't mind people calling them from the blinds bc they will then have position and the betting lead.

Money Transfers Could face New Scrutiny
Keep a record of all your games, add up your wins and write down each loss as a separate thing. Then read up on how much you have to pay. It depends if you file as an amateur or a pro, too.

So is RaiseOnce really Phil Ivey????
The dude who owns Ikea could just call whichever of his employees he needs to and say, make me the pimpest car ever. Google translate ftw This too. If he really wanted to play a 25k hu, he could just tell whoever sets up ftp tourneys to set one up.

PCA Super High Roller Event
This kinda thing should be done all the time. There are way to few All-Star games in poker. If they had enough of these, maybe they could actually come up w/ a legit World Champ. I know it's been suggested by some big name pros in the past and it would be great for the game.

9 man sng 22 in bb and sb shoves.
Snap call vs reg, snap fold vs unknown bc his range is likely so tight. Obv if you have a read he's looser than most you call. Turbo sngs are about seizing small edges whenever possible.

So is RaiseOnce really Phil Ivey????
All I'm saying is that PI playing in a WCOOP event would be like the president of Ford driving a Chevy. Pretty fkn stupid and hypocritical. He's been in a zillion commercials whose basic message is "FTP ftw." How are you gonna say that to the world and then turn around and go "But money, though." when you're still affiliated w/ the site you promoted' I'd think Lederer and them would basically pressure him to either quit it or gtfo and stop being double minded.

So is RaiseOnce really Phil Ivey????
All the FTP pros have exclusivity deals. Ivey's reputation, marketability and wallet would all take big hits and he'd likely lose his deal at FTP. Aka not worth it for $5 million or more, so def not worth it for whatever bet he made unless this was the biggest bet he's ever made by millions.
