Has Science Refuted Religion?
Religion is one of the few institutions that can make a virtue of irrationality. I'm not convinced it's science's place to flatly "refute" religion, but it can probably demonstrate that religion is unnecessary or detrimental to a sufficiently advanced society.

The whole world isn't so black and white lol. Any professor in the physics dept at your nearest university can tell you the apple won't fall 100% of the time. For the purposes of everyday life it sure helps to believe it will. You airballed on the apple falling/afterlife analogy. Qjuice wasn't trying to tie the probability of the apple falling to the probability of an afterlife. He was trying to express that you can "know" very little with 100% certainty, but in the face of overwhelming evidence, on earth, it's the best we can do to claim we know something is true.

I think it's hilarious that you order all 3 of these things. I get that it's your place to define your own standards for service, and it's up to grade your experience and to tip accordingly. but for some reason the idea of you expecting your waitress to take care of all 3 of these when most people order 1 drink is just awesome. I realize no one cares but I felt like I should post again. by the time we ate I was pretty deep and didn't think of taking pictures. I spent all day switching the level from 'off' to 'low' and back again. it was damn delicious though and I couldn't believe how tender beef tongue gets when you cook it slow. next time I'll def slice it and fry chips out of it.

beef tongue is down in the slow cooker, 7 more hours or so til tacos. half a fat tire beef stock+garlic, onion, bay leaves, dried parsely, and a little bit of brown sugar I rested it on onion slices so it wouldn't touch the bottom too much. will post more pics as I go if my pos blackberry will work with photobucket.

Thanks man, I talked to the other guys and tacos it is. Pico+corn and lime is the plan, what's ur take on adding a fruit, worth it for tongue or no' I'll be able to throw it in about 9 am thursday so I should have plenty of time to drink all day and let it work. I've got a couple catfish strung up that I'll fry for the tacos so it should be a great redneck kind of day. I'll post pics in here afterward.
