JRADF79 having a good day? And also I wasn't saying those guys were MAing or anything. Just saying their accounts go dormant when they're not playing and then all of the sudden their playing all these big tourneys when a good tourney series comes around... totally legit Posted in: Poker Community |

JRADF79 having a good day? There are a whooooole bunch of pros who left the US in early May and went to Canada/Mexico or a few other places just to grind SCOOP for a few weeks. Many of them are leaving today or within the next week and heading back to the States. Their accounts will remain dormant until after the WSOP or maybe even until WCOOP Posted in: Poker Community |

1/3 NL would like some feeback What he said man. I've learned some hard lessons by not slowing down when they make it obv they have top pair and aren't folding. Have to just throw it away and move on, then stack them with your set > their top pair in the next few hours oh and it's good to see that_pope back in PD and commenting more now that 2+2 is gone! What you doing here? I don't see a donkbettor unless the definition has changed recently. Seeing his stats says of course he's been playing pretty tight so and his cbet on the flop looks pretty standard regardless. He could've just gotten silly in the blinds and made the call pre with 78,910, even j8s. of course also any of those pairs. All of these hands in his range are red flags and easily trap you if you overvalue your top pair. I guess you could call and reevaluate the turn but what would that accomplish as you're down to 6 outs and maybe even drawing dead. Also what happens if you call flop, lindk 2 barrels ... not motivated to do a 9 to 5 when I can make far more money from online poker! If you're a winning player, have the discipline needed, have the bankroll, and do things correctly with poker, why would you ever get a regular 9-5' I think if you can do it right, go for it. You have to stay disciplined though and you should start working out. The volunteer advice is great and there are clubs all over you could join for almost any hobby under the sun. There are all types of volunteering things too. One thing that might work for your anxiety and anti-social stuff could be volunteering at nursing homes a few times a week. With that you'll be with older people who won't judge ... Posted in: Poker Community |

Pokerstars Rant (very long) Stars allowed me to change my sn a few years ago for that exact same reason. I created a new account, of course verified who the hell I was, and they transferred all my funds and fpps, etc. over to me. Then a few months ago, i moved out of the US, had to reinstate my account, and send them a whole bunch of translated documents to get my account unlocked. It all made sense to me and I'm actually very thankful that they take such care in making sure people are real people and things are kept honest and legitimate. Throughout all of this, security and support replied back to me within hours and ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

Staying away from Casino Games/Blackjack Start forcing yourself to take at least 5-10 seconds for EVERY decision at the poker table. Then start taking that time to make every decision at the casino. Force yourself to truly assess everything and you'll notice the self control starts to come more naturally. Stop eating sugar. Go cold turkey on that shit, it takes amazing self control if you're a normal sugar-eating human being and that will help you use discipline in other parts of your life. If physically able, start working out every day. Even just forcing yourself to knock out ten pushups when you've been sitting at the computer ... Posted in: Poker Community |
