The answer to the question of whether or not there are any gods is unknowable. I think most atheists and agnostics agree on this. But when you ask the question do you belive in god(s)', agnostics don't want to play anymore. Where as an atheist will say no I don't believe in any gods. But you can never make an assertion that there are no gods because (a) the answer is unknowable, (b) you can't prove a negative.

It's incredible how many agnostics I hear say this. I don't believe in any gods. I am therefore an atheist because I don't believe in god(s). I am not making a claim, I'm rejecting one based on the lack of supporting evidence. At no point do I say I believe in all certainty that there is no god of any kind. That would be an absurd thing to say because you can not prove a negative. I don't know why so many have trouble understanding this.

Back in 02, after playing GTA: Vice City for about a month and hearing a couple of his songs on there including Billie Jean, I decided to get Off The Wall and Thriller. Playing that game actually got me interested in 80s music in general.

I honestly don't think anyone can talk you in to an appreciation for the game. The only way is by playing in a team and/or watching more high-level games such as EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Champions League and international games in the Euro and World Cups. A good start would be watching the video I posted earlier.

It always annoyed me when people said he was overrated. He married a spice girl and they became that 'hot celebrity couple'. His football ability played a minor role in how famous he became. Because of this people started thinking he either wasn't a very good player to begin with or that the attention he received was out of proportion with how good a player he was (therefore he must be an overrated player). They couldn't have been more wrong. This goal deserves to be in this thread also.

What was with Alves' crosses' They were terrible all night. Toure looked so shaky in defence. Drogba is such a crybaby. When he doesn't get a penalty he just lies on the ground feeling sorry for himself. Then abusing the ref after the game shows he has no class. Pique's handball was the only definite penalty kick. I think I agree with you, my only concern is this... If it's killing a higher proportion of young, previously healthy people isn't it more dangerous than the regular flu that kills primarily old, already sick people'

ecugirl, If you would be kind enough to provide me with the context for those specific passages and explain to me how I am misinterpreting them, I would greatly appreciate it. It's very easy to insta-respond with "out of context". But it's much more helpful to illustrate how exactly it has been taken out of context. Because to me, those passages couldn't be any clearer and I can only see one way of interpreting them.
