Ok....seems like there is nothing as appealing to the polititians as cig taxes seem to be. They are about to make it too expensive to smoke....the obvious conclusion is that less people will smoke. Where are they going to make up the money lost on cig taxes when people do quit' When are they going to tax the damn french fries....or ice cream.....should be a 100% on deep fried twinkies....all of these are killing as many people as tabaco. Tax the fatties and leave my damn nicotene alone please. thx end of rant High

Qualifier is quads beat, which is prolly why its so dam big....chased it for another 8 hrs last night....made a few hundy chasing it in the last couple days. Losing hand is looking at over 170k now. Ill be chasing it alot in the near future, where else can you play on $100 for hours and have a chance at 6 figures. High

Biggest bad beat in a live casino
Bad beat at the lodge in Blackhawk Co is at 430k+....second is over 370k. Anyone know of any bad beats bigger than this in the USA' Just curious if this is the biggest ever....and its a $5 limit state still for the moment. High

Its a little late in the season to find much white water in Colorado. Was sick in June, Browns got up to 3900cfs....more than a 10yr high. The fishing sucked while the water was high, but the white water made up for it. I floated the ark a couple of wks ago and it was under 1000cfs....no white water and the boat may need to be helped in a few spots. Go white water rafting during or right after runoff in the spring. Go fish the ark now....nothing too big...up to 20" browns ....but lots of em. High

Steamboat is a nice place to visit, but you will be bored and isolated for a good part of the year. Tahoe would be much more fun in the long run, but have you considered Breckenridge' Breck is the party and has the powder and plenty of low end service type jobs. Buds in Breck and Tahoe compair, but in steamboat you may be shit out of luck....might have to drive to summit county to score. And oh yea the limit in Colorado may just go up to $100 soon....on the ballot in nov. High

Just wondering if someone who fails any of the tests....for aid...loans....drivers lic...ect...should also be thrown directly into jail. Drug tests are 100% reliable and cost almost nothing and the added revenue for the criminal justice system could make all the diff in this great free country. There are more people incarcerated in America than in any other country in the world. Maybe we have too many laws already. Gilpin has a choice game that is mostly omaha/8. Usually a 5/5 game which means one 5$ blind with 5 raises. They also have daily tournys which usually fill up. i dont know much about the gates, but they also have daily tournys. The 5/5 game at the lodge is kinda a cap fest mostly filled with the same bankroll.....a little bit o team play which is never gonna be a problem with gaming or the floor.....hard to beat 9 other people playin with the same roll, so i would avoid. When u are in blackhawk or central city, ask around about games in denver.....there are some good ones. gl High
