Re:WSOP ME FT to be held in November
I completely understand all the negatives from a pure poker standpoint, however this is a good move from several different angles... 1. This will certainly increase interest in the Main Event and thus poker in general...good for all of us right' 2. Any "unfair" advantages of reviewing previous play of opponents will be equally enjoyed by all players at the final table. 3. The people who make the final table will enjoy endorsements that will compensate them more than they'll probabably make from the payouts (with the exception of the top 2 or3 spots) So...More exposure for ...

Re:Bad risk with AK at this point in MTT or play to win?
Indeed, but that's not my question....I realize that this was 50/50, but what I'm asking is that given the stack sizes etc...over the long run would it be better to wait for a better spot...

Suggestions - Finding local games - Austin, Tx
I recently moved from Dallas to Austin/Round Rock and I love the town, but I moved here knowing no other people who play poker in the area, and I'd love to find a few local games to play from time to time. My problem is that I'm trying to figure out how/where to find a poker room and as you know people are wary of giving this info to a stranger, so if any of you have suggestions of how I could go about finding some local games I'd really appreciate the help.

Vote: Living player who has made the most money playing poker?
I'm curious to see P5ers take on this... By "made" I mean this cash is currently a part of their poker BR, invested or in their possesion in some way or it has left their possession by spending it on something other than poker losses. Don't include money you think players have made from sponsorships etc... Only profit as the direct result of playing poker... Many of you will probably guess Doyle Brunson because of his longevity and success, so if you are guessing him, go ahead and put who you think would be second.

Re:Was a pretty good turn for me...
Yep, looking back I wish I had bet more like 45-50, but b/c he raised me on the turn I thought that he probably at least had a Q if not a boat so I kinda thought that if he had a hand he could call anything with he'd be able to call a good sized bet...After the hand he said he had KJ so I MIGHT have been able to squeeze another 40 bucks or so, but that would be a pretty bad call by him...

Re:Wynn Cash Game?..... ( tough spot)
From the safety of the forum I have to say fold from what you've said... I think it's highly unlikely that he's making this play with a draw and so that leaves him with TT or 88... But that's what I say here on the forum...what I would have done if it were me, it stack off because I don't fold sets in cash games with no possible made flushes or str8s...lol...
