Charity Poker in Michigan
I live around the area. Most of the cash game action is at Snookers in that area. There are more in and around western Wayne County that I know better. I have been to Cadas and Snookers many times and I must say that the tournaments there are better structured than any other charity tournament in the state. Also, snookers runs smoother just about all of the casinos that I have ever played at. It really is a joy to go in there and know that youre not going to get jumped on the list or get screwed on a ruling.

Going to MGM Grand Detroit tomorrow.......any advice?
Only at Greektown if you are playing in the high stakes room.. which is in between the buffet (if you see it when you walk from the parking garage, keep walking and its on your left) and the craps table. During the week its 25 mins its pretty bamf as so many people bet 25 on the floor as it is.. But anyway, no, on the floor there are no free drinks.

Going to MGM Grand Detroit tomorrow.......any advice?
The waiting list for the BBJ might be rather long at MCity. MGM is fun to go to. However I am tilted with those ceramic rings around the table where you put your chips... Its annoying and not big enough. The action there is 1-2 100-300 and 2-5 200'-1000. It is a nice room, just might be a problem if the clubs is open, which on a Sunday night it may be, I am not sure... PM if you are looking for more people to drink with/play cards or whatever... At MGM i do not park valet... Yea its nice to not have the keys in your pocket and whatever, but its a bitch to get in and out of, unless ...

What credit cards do you have?
Discover and Chase, and now a bank of america for my business. Discover has possibly the BEST customer service and APR for no/new creditors. I remember I got mine at like 11%, and after a year they upped my limit from 500 to 1500 and dropped my APR to 9%. Bank of America is kinda of cool since I am getting a Detroit Tigers credit card. You can also get your picture on your debit card help limit the possibility of fraud. More of a novelty anymore, no one checks that kind of stuff. Also, you can link your CC account with your checking account, and if you overdraw your checking, they will ...

Then, if lucky enough, jam with qq kk aa. Ive mucked jj in that spot before, same tourney, and I dont think that anyone has ever called me a nit.

Detroit Casinos
I like MGM as a casino in general the best. I like their poker room, as it is a 100-300 1/2 game and 300-1000 2/5 game. However, the issue with the room is that there is a jazz/cigar bar right next to it. Playing on Friday or Saturday night is not really an option if loud noises bother you. The clientèle seems to be a higher class at MGM than any of the other casinos. The wait-staff in the MGM Poker Room is great. There is a waitress, or two on weekends and such, and a bar within 20 feet if you dont feel like waiting. At Motor City, what everyone is saying is true. The dealers are ...

Online Blackjack...
Why dont you just go to a casino' I mean, there is Hoosier Park just outside of Indy. Im from SE MI and I know a lot of people that will go to charity poker rooms that offer blackjack. Charity rooms take pushes on 17/18/19/20/21. Its sicko. Just hop into your car and go play at a casino. You get your money in, get your money out, and you know its not shady, most places at least.

Back in-- or get fired?
All states have at will employees. There are at-will employees, the average Joe, and there are contracted employees, like athletes and coaches, CEOs, and Erin Andrews. At-will employment usually is all encompassing, but if you can prove that there was unlawful termination, then you might have a lawsuit. To prove unlawful termination, there are a ton of things that have to go right. If the company is not stupid, then they can cite something else for your termination, like insubordination, which is what I would cite in the termination if I were the Brazilian. On a side note, I am sure ...
