I'm a fan of the Kings and their style of play. So that would be okay in my books. Never a bad thing to see Marty win one and go out on top to a sick career, a la Bourque! Plus, living out in BC, all i'm going to hear for the next month is "If LA wins, we lost to the Stanley Cup Champions" yet again. Fucking clueless fans. #1 reason why rest of NHL hates on the Canucks so bad.

Players who walk the line and play on edge are going to be on both sides of calls. Some will slide, and sometimes they'll get called when in all actuality they did nothing wrong (penalized basically for reputation). He plays the game hard, and is always going to have haters. Hell of a player. Wish he was on my team.

He was suppose to come up for thanksgiving, bailed, Christmas, bailed, said he had no $$ but went to Vegas. So they're not very happy with him,(I applaud the decision tbh, haha), and he's like the black sheep of the family, hence why gf didn't really care to put in the effort to see him. Figured just best if I let them go, be pretty awkward and embarrassing meeting me then getting torn into for 45 mins infront of someone you don't know.

I came back to town to visit my girlfriend for the day and night. We spent the day out and about and just got in, made reservations for dinner, and her mom phones her saying, "your brother is in town (lives 7 hrs away) with an hour to kill. Let's go meet up quick." She's very family oriented, but even she didn't really want to go, but agreed to with her mom. Am I in the wrong for saying I didn't want to go' I mean, I've never met the guy before, and me and her aren't eating since we're going out in 2 hrs. That was awesome what the fans did to Na. In between shots, they can say whatever they want. 4 rounds of that shit was brutal. If he wasnt contending it would've been fine, but when it's crammed down your throats, people get irritated and will voice opinions by any means necessary. Yes he's aware, yes he's apologetic. But I bet he fixes it quick to avoid more scrutiny and further embarrassment. He took it like a man and was a class act. He hates it just as much, if not more than anyone else. I applaud him on that part.
