Tuesday March 7, 2006 broadcast on CTV Sportsnet, they were showing the HPC "Heads-up poker Championship". One of the players names was Noah Boeken. He lives in Europe and is a professional internet poker player. Anyway, they did a mini-bio on the guy and visited his apartment to show the daily life of an internet poker player. Flops where everyone catches something?
I didn't write the article I just found it to be "Good Reading and thought provoking" hope you do too. I've read through this a lot. People all seem to feel they are specifically targeted or something. In a way yes, and in a way, no! Of course each site is monitoring play! And effecting odds! Most commonly with flops where everybody catches something, to generate action. They don't do this every hand, every few hands is sufficient. Many years back I was playing in a $20/$40 limit stud game I was in the 8th position when I get rolled up Aces. First allow me to point out I was beginner, I had no business in a $20/$40 game (I shaking so bad on any bet not even a cocktail could calm my nerves) my game was $1/$2 I always lost but I had fun . You're not understanding my statements... I am poking fun. It would be a huge breach of security if a online gambling site used a method that scanned the end users Hardive looking for BOT's or another form of deception by the end user. People who prey on computer users would have a field day with the online gambling sites Root-kits or other method, they would have easy access to the user's computer/passwords. As for the UK SEC... Unless the person filing the complaint lives in the UK if would be interesting to read what their response would be after all, the person filing the complaint lives ...

Let me/everyone know when you get help from the UK SEC....ROFL As for the BOT the way for any site to catch a BOT would be to ask it questions then wait to see if there is a reply. Otherwise there is no way to detect BOT's. IF any poker site is scanning my HD even if they stated it in the EULA that would be the biggest breach of personal computer security. Now the FBI can get involved.

Djdaddio: Why would the FBI investigate anyone when online gambling is illegal in the USA' The FBI is going to make an arrest for illegal activity when persons are playing on an illegal gambling site.... This is going to make a great Hollywood script.

Not really, every online gambling site is venerable to being comprised. Most people just refuse to believe it can or will happen. Rather than worry about any poker site being hacked/comprised I would put emphases into believing poker sites are cheating honest people out of their money while they watch it happened. Those same people do not even realize it is happening to them or other people.

The program is suppose to take into account previous betting/winning combinations however I do not believe the program has the capability to do so. In my opinion it lacks true artificial intelligence and I'm sure your computer and most people (unless you work for the NSA) lacks the memory or capabilities for the program to grow or learn on a consistent basis.

You only have one out that is the 7 for the best possible hand. Don't put to much into these type of programs or you will find you will hurt you more than help if all you do is look at odds... Sometimes or many times you have to have a feel for the game in my opinion that is more important.
