They put up a guarantee because they can hit it, because lock is run by people who have the will to go above and beyond other skins. I find it very insulting that one of the only networks that caters towards americans you would accuse them of old car dealer tricks. If they were going to fall short of the guarantee than Lock would eat that money and move on, its not like they were going to be 500k short....you have no idea what money the site does or doesn't have so why would you assume the worst'

why would they create the guarantee in the first place if they couldn't live up to it' wouldn't they just set it lower'

I can't speak for why he hasn't been banned or even if he has been reported but I don't believe he is cheating anymore. The cheating has gone down immensely the past few months so much that I would say it is no longer a problem. Also the group of guys all said the same thing. They all said they were friends who didn't cheat but that they just were soft playing each other. When you soft play each other with 4 friends in the DON it makes it nearly impossible for the other 2 to cash considering almost all of your equity in a DON comes from other people knocking each other out.

Man, this really tilts me because people like kevmode have very little understanding of what really has happened at lock/merge DON's. Let me start by saying things have gotten A LOT BETTER, and mostly because of the Lock pros. I am a lock pro, I play under the name hurricanejeff. I've lost track of how many DON's I've played but I believe its somewhere around 10k. Back in Feb of 2011 there was a rake race on Lock. The prize was seat for EPT valued around $10k. I had just quit my backer and really was hurting for money so I set my mind to grind mode, and went for the race. I had 2 major ...
