The definitive word on MJ vs. Kobe I truly dont follow, the leagues are way more concentrated now with superstar athletes than they ever were. An elite athlete in 1902 is at a tremdous advantage over that same player today because of the level of the athleticism in the NBA and NFL of the people he is playing against is not even close. The definitive word on MJ vs. Kobe The DNA in the players in the NBA and NFL are cleary superhuman compared to 100 years ago. That doesn't mean that everyone is bigger and faster as a whole outside of the league but the pool of superathletes is waaaaaay bigger than it was back then. 1) Teams now have access to the finest athletes on earth, where before there was geographic limitations, language and cultural differences. 3) Look at offensive and Defensive line average size and speed over the past 100 years.
