Re:$22 single table spot w/QQ a reg would make it 200 or 250, not 300 but the range is AKo+, JJ+ maybe TT... QQ not so hot vs that range and it's level 1... it's an necessary fold imo, would be even moreso on stars than ftp. it is easier to say fold than to fold while you're playing. Re:Is This a Snap Call or am I a Nit? why would u check the turn' when you think about it the 5 on the river is irrelevant. quads is the only hand you're get in trouble against if u bet the turn since he'd just call and get it in on riv when u hit gin, anything else and you're getting raised or winning pot. he does have quads here almost every time given the action imo. Re:really starting to think i suck, TOP TOP in FTOPS MAIN i'm not really sure why you're surprised, you c bet pot in the 1st hand which you'd only do with AK, you bet 500ish and then your range isn't down to AK and AK only. on the 2nd hand you played it pretty obv too, you have A2 or AQ there all day, you probably instacalled the turn so he knew u had A2. maybe if you try not betting like 90% of the n00bs out there you won't have fish calling out your hands. this isn't mean to be mean or critical, just something to consider. Re:Who is going to the LAPT Costa Rica!? i'm gonna be there, also i'm heading out to santa teresa and montezuma on the west coast to get some surfing in after, then heading down to puerto viejo for some smoking and bocas in panama afterwards. i spent 6 months in costa rica last year so know my way around. if anyone wants to hit up the beaches after for a few days-weeks, the more the merrier, i travel and stay cheap in central america, so if you're not about backpacking or hanging out with that crowd, you won't like it. if you do, it will be a sick time. anyway, i'm heading down there tomorrow, pura vida and gl in ...
