Can you recommend a good poker book or training site to help win coin flips and avoid getting 2 outted on the river' Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I guess I just expected both sides of the argument to be presented whether or not to legalize and regulate it. Yes, dogfighting is gambling but they're making it look like its lumped in together with poker and sports betting. They need to present facts as to how regulating will help the economy.

this is absolutely god awful. No mention of regulating or legalizing at all 30 minutes in. Just people's pitfalls and i like i they put dog fighting in with gambling like poker and sports. Pathetic.

I actually called this guy. Absolutely hilarious like legalized online gambling was the fucking apocalypse. Every point I made he just "referred me back to the article." I asked for an explanation of how he thought the stock market was different than gambling and was told to have a great day. Priceless.

For god sakes this country is getting dumber by the fucking minute. "Addicting and dangerous for children" guess the country drug and alcohol problem are solved then. So instead of regulating it, it will drive citizens to offshore bank accounts and then they can deal with that shit. Economy is in the toilet, so we will pass up billions of dollars in tax revenue. cash game hand
Playing 1/2 nl with 98s on the button player in 3rd position raises to $8 three people call in front of me blinds fold. flop is 7 4 2 two hearts giving me a flush draw. or bets $15 next player min raises to 30. I call as does or. turn is 6 of clubs guy goes all in for $68 player behind him folds. With about $130 in the pot open ended straight draw and flush draw I called and he immediately berated me when a 10 hit the river was I wrong in calling'

Yes, their cash games are extremely soft. They are currently running satellites for their $3 mil guaranteed tourney to be held in august. Definitely worth it.

Yes, big hand vs. big hand= bigger rake, just by raking an extra .25 per hand per cash table nets them millions and millions extra per year. People will tell you no they have nothing to gain by doing this but they do. Same as Enron, Tyco, Martha Stewart. GREED!!!!!! No such thing as too much money. Stick to live casino play.

I actually live in Saginaw and the casinos in oklahoma are not that far at all. In fact, Winstar casino is hosting the WWCS $3 million guaranteed tournament satellites run through august and Choctaw casino is hosting a 500,000 guaranteed tourney in May satellites end april 30th and you will love the players up there tons of easy money!!!

Right there with you man, I clean up live but cant win for shit online. You never know if your playing a bot, employee of the site, or 3 or 4 people iming each other. Good luck in the future and maybe I'll see you in a REAL poker room

Well fellow online players I have officially turned in my online poker card until it is licensed and regulated the US. To many sick beats and no way of knowing if your playing against bots, programs, or employees of the site. Looked what happened to absolute; who knows what hasn't been turned up yet. Sites can track every hand to look for collusion, I'm sure they also track how often a player deposits, what amounts, how often he/she cashes out, etc. To weed out the players who are taking money off the site. Like the saying goes "fishes attract sharks" well if the sharks eat ...
