Wife friendly stuff' Get up early and get to Franklins by 9 on saturday. Afterwards head out to ladybird lake. Hit south Congress for food/drinks. Head out to the 360 bridge (sorry dunno its real name) and head up the trails to the cliffs for the sunset. Head back into town and do east 6th or rainey st. Sunday wake up, find a good brunch, maybe hit kung fun saloon before shit gets packed. Then who knows, head home to houston I guess.

Just because they are in a shelter doesn't mean there is something wrong with them. Sometimes people have to give them up when they move, or in the case of my dog, she was a stray after the forest fires here. There's plenty of puppies in shelters that are born to strays and I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with them. The reason people should consider adopting is there is literally no reason to force dogs to breed when there's a huge stray/shelter population out there being euthanized. Certainly if the shelter/stray populations were under control then by all means breed dogs.

If you want something unique check out Rhodesian Ridgebacks I picked up a mix a few months ago from the shelter and she's awesome. Her defining feature and unique to just ridgebacks is her Mohawk down her back. What's even cooler is that since she's mixed her hair is longer than it should be so her Mohawk stands at about an inch permanently. Other than that she is a beautiful smart dog. She can be fun and energetic and play rough (humans or dogs) or she can just chill and hang out. Mine actually isn't aggressive around cats, just respectful. Does anyone have a Nielson Monitor?
I remember some tv show from when I was a kid and they for the Nielson box and the joke was that they only put the tvs connected to it on to watch "smart" things and then they were watching their real shows on some tv not connected to the box.

Come up with some ridiculous example way out there on a tangent about how if you had to execute 500 people that had been sentenced to death, but knew that 1 of them was innocent, but you didn't know which one, could you morally put every one of them to death' Basically, the more ridiculous of an example you can come up with, the better your argument sounds.

1) Not to sound snobby (I can't afford much higher end stuff atm either), but spending $550 on a piece of photography equipment is a drop in the bucket. Traditionally with photo equipment price is nearly directly proportional to quality. If you want the good stuff, be ready to pony up for it. 2) That being said, if you're just beginning, I would advise AGAINST jumping headfirst in and putting tons of cash down on equipment. Should Apple Have To Pay A "Windfall Profits" Tax?
We didn't tax the oil companies when they were outright raping everyone during the recession and posting record profits, and they provide a service that's critical to basically everyone in the industrialized world. So yes, it makes sense for a consumer electronics company to pay a windfall tax...a company that produces stuff that is an optional expenditure to the public. is a piece of shit. a few years ago I was traveling europe. I booked a hotel that was listed in a town in Zurich, Switzerland. Come to find out, the hotel was somehow in France. I realized this when I got the confirmation email and I actually looked at the address, so I cancelled within 15 minutes of making the booking. I got a little confirmation number on screen, which I didn't record, because who does that etc. A month later I never got my refund, called them up, and they basically said FU because you don't have a confirmation number, and they never saw the request. F them.
