ya, even though they are minimal cashes I agree with not allowing them. Like I said it's a donation anyway, as I'll be lucky to play in half of the events. Best of luck in the series.

ok....so then do receive cashes from yesterday or not' I proposed no, because assumed that would be the norm after entering late. But squid mentioned he didn't mind. Again good with any decision and send my donation asap

Was going to see if you guys wanted another player. Only reason I didn't hop in is because I expect to be missing a lot of the events. But since nobody did much yesterday I'm willing to hop in and start with zero cashes, from the start of Monday night. So, my first event that would qualify would be event 11. Btw....I totally understand if this is not ok, as it is past the deadline. At the time I'm writing this I have just regged event 11. Again, I'm good either way, but thought I would offer. Good luck in the series either way.

Ya I might. I mean Merge is so 2011/12/13 tho. The money is on Bovy these days. Not saying Merge isn't ok, or that it doesn't still account for about 15 percent of my daily schedule.....but it has restricted a lot of us to 4 tables max, and in general other sites (Bovy, specifically) have far better prize pools to play for day in and day out. So ya, I may get in the comp. But my vote would also be to include all of the events. Not trying to hijack the comp tho AJ. You do a great job with it bud. Your decision to include all events or cap it likely wouldn't influence my decision to play one ...

Carbon OPS competition
Hi. Possibly in. Adding some 109s and 215s but not others seems sort of silly. Say someone ships the 215/35 K that runs nightly, is winning that field (which is tougher IMO) less impressive or countable than winning a 109 main filled with many more satty players' I mean sure the payout up top is more, but just in general. Again I may play and I may not, but I would be in favor of either..... A. Including everything Or B. Picking whatever buy in cap you guys decide and sticking to that. But I think when u start including some of these buy ins and some of those buy ins it is ...

Not playing on all 3 sites (esp bovada) is the equivalent to lighting money on fire. Hope this helps.

1 dollar to 21k in three days
1. I'm sure if there was a site that you could run a bone into 21 K in three days, it would definitely be a small new jersey site that is known for it's beastly prize pools 2. Spam imo 3. Good job

OSS III Individual TLB competition
Yeah, I went back and read the working/language in the thread, and when it said all tournaments are included between the start date and end date of the series I suppose that I assumed that meant that all had the opportunity to count, and then there would be a cap just like all other contests. Don't misunderstand me however, I'm not complaining. I just misunderstood apparently. I didn't dream that we were aiming for a mass-tabling contest, particularly with the bigger, better series going on with Bovy. I suppose I should have realize that tho when I saw guys loading 1 and 3 dollar tourneys, ...

How many scores count' Right now the sheet is just tracking everything with no limit, and basing the scores/standings off the total number rather than a certain amount, or like top X number of scores. Also, as I said in the other thread, I would recommend taking at least several days to a week before declaring the contest official. I think we all know how the WPN import can be. Hell, I've had stuff randomly import a week later before, even when the fee wasn't down. GL today everyone.

GL today everyone. Also, I would recommend we take several days following the comp to make sure all scores are correct. Not just a couple days, but several. This seems to be the norm with acr contests, and you all know how the winning import can be at times. Good luck, and let's get'em.

Actually....just take me out as a captain. I can't commit to a time today/tomorrow, and can't seen to find a spare 5 minutes in the day prior to loading/regging. I will still play in the contest however. For the captains....if someone needs info on what I'm playing....I will be playing everything, except for some of the smaller prize pool events. I will also be playing any other non-tourney event with a worthwhile prize pool. If we wind up short on captains, the. I would suggest either grouping/snaking an auto draft based on either lifetime cashes. You could also do worldwide ...

5 pm for draft gonna be tough for me....can we do 7:00 pm est on wed' It usually doesn't take long and we can have it done before the Bovy events are off and running for the evening. Like others, I don't want to do the draft while tables are flying, but if we do at 7 pm EST we should be done before most of the tables are flying for the night. Lmk what u think.

First, thanks for running/organizing this. Second, my suggestion would be to count all tourneys that run on ACR/BCP during the series dates. I would imagine most entrants would view a larger sample size of tourneys as being a positive thing.

I vote for all tourneys that run during the series times for both comps. I'm in either way, but I don't view a larger sample size at being negative. Up to u all though.

Winning Network OSS III Team Competition - anyone interested?
Agree with Tyson/Dixie myself, and in fact I was kind of surprised when others were adamant that they wanted to pick their own teams. It is true, that any team can win a contest, as 7delux and a couple others pointed out. Teams can be stacked or not stacked. Doesn't mean one team is going to win over another. What it does mean however is that.... 1. The overall interest level will be minimal 2. As a result, the comp prize pool will be smaller Contests that have been run in the past for these US sites (often by Dixie) have been laxed, enjoyable, balanced, and well ran. So, as I ...
