Re(1): Newbie Advice A friend of mine who goes by the handle Debonair suggested the following guidelines for bankroll management. He plays a very solid, low variance style game. His goal with these guidelines is to never go broke - and he hasn't. Limit Cash Games - 200x big blind No Limit Cash Games - 20 buy-ins SNGs - 25 buyins MTTs - 25 buyins The strength of your game and your willingness to go broke may lead you to deviate from these numbers, but I find them to be excellent guidelines myself. So with an $80 bankroll, I think playing the $2.25 sngs is the right buyin level. Good Luck! Idoru99 Posted in: Poker Discussion |
