9 tabling 1/2 would be better from my exp. Players are worse. You can play straightforward ABC poker, whereas it gets a bit trickier at 2/4. If I had to choose, id 9 table 1/2

if you can beat NL25 you can beat NL50, trust me. I would say give NL50 a shot at say 750$ with a 3 buyin stoploss. If you run well, continue to play it. Just comes down to variance really. No difference in the games. gl

theres a few guys that 25 table the 60s. the play at the 60s is very very VERY weak. It would not be hard at all to maintain a positive ROI. Just need to be comfortable playing sngs. The more experience you have, the quicker you are able to make your decisions.

ronjon, already a member of pxf and i didnt find the videos terribly helpful... I am a member of cardrunners but we dont get many good mtt vids, although the ones by AJ have been great. I guess I probably just need to play more mtts. the 20$ 180 mans seem like great practice, but they are fairly small stakes as far as I am concerned. I have a hard time focusing when playing for such little money :(. Oh well

good point... i guess I could reread them. Tournaments for me are just cash game-like early when there is some play, and then pure icm decisions and theory late. Dunno. I think a big problem is I get bored and start trying to create action and end up putting myself in very marginal, possibly -EV situations...

How to become a goot tournament player?
I suck at tournaments I think. I have never brought in a huge score. I think I know what I am doing but apparently I dont otherwise id win or something. My background. Been playing since jan of 06. Started in sngs, did v well, moved to cash and have been successful there as well. For some reason I either really blow at mtts or just run bad(which is possible I guess, seems like some stupid beats have prevented me from a few huge scores). Anyways, to those of you who are good at donkaments, how did you get good' I have HoH's and have read some of them, but not everything because I basically ...

uhm, wtf. There are so many hands you are very far ahead of. Imo, villain is semibluffing here a good amount of time. You have redraw outs. If you win, you win the sng. Also, 50/100 blinds, itll be awhile before imp is in real danger. call. if he had JT, stop being a bitch. Do the math, I can almost garauntee this is a call.

whining, over the top' He got bad beat out of 2 final tables from what I saw. Hachem is an incredibly solid player, and a genuinely nice guy. I think anyone would be pretty pissed if they got fucked like he did this past wsop. if you arent, you are a moron.
