Satalite to 1.5mill FTOPS #9, bubble.
First off, i never play satalites. I actually had a great stack going onto the bubble then i had 77, raised and a half stack (compared to mine) shoved from BB. I called and doubled him up, leaving me with the short stack. Should I fold 77 given I have a good stack' Then this came up, obv I was being bullied out, and he had done this twice before. The one thing that matters is. Can i really fold here and take a shot at two of them sucking out on each other'

AQs early
Had a mixed response about this hand, early in a double stacked tournament $26buyin on FT, I had already doubled up but then this hand cropped up, results included. As soon as he makes a PSB on the flop, i immediatly put him on a weaker ace with a good diamond draw, I definatly dont think he has AK. Given im confident about my reads, should I be going broke here. Some people have said I should be flat folding, I was thinking maybe calling, seeing a safe turn then getting it in. cheers ash.

7th in the 17.5k gtd
Biggest cash yet, I dont play very many tournaments just now and again. Last month i hit 3rd in a 10k freeroll, and this month ive cashed for 7th out of 1600 in the FT 17.5k guaranteed, its very wierd though Im really dissapointed because $800 is not a substiantial amount of money, its alot in my life, but in terms of poker its not very much. First was 8k, why couldnt my 77 stand up against the guys AQ' Anyways, there will be more spots I guess. Ash.

6max hand QQ, facing flop shove
Early in the $2.20 6max tourny: Im sitting UTG+1 with I open to 4x bb, flop is I bet 2/3rds of the pot, the guy instashoves, The pot is 600 initial + my 400 bet, so hes shoved for 1.5k into a 1k pot, other player folds. whats my line' Its quite early no reads, table seems standard.

Yes definatly, you can play perfect poker and still lose. Its not about winning, I only ever tilt when I make decisions, never when I lose when im ahead. WHich is why playing correctly is most important.

Re(2): Whats your line? 100 NL
Fold preflop, why are you calling his 3bet with QhTh' do you expect to be beating his range' You could maybe c/r the flop as played but if he shoves (which I expect he will) your gonna have to let it go.

Re(1): On the money at the WCOOP second chance, did i play too poor?
I dont like the stop n go id play the flop more strongly i think, maybe raise the flop and check the turn if he calls you then re-evaluate on the river.

Re(2): AJ, bad shove? final table 6max, $10 pstars
Yeah cheers guys, in my post opinion It was a bad move, BUT my excuse is that I had been out drinking all night, then proceeded to play this at 4am, and somehow made it to final table by 9am, so my decisions werent all that great. I for some reason thought my M was pretty low but then I realised I had about 18 big blinds so could have easily survived a fold and played onwards waiting for a better spot. I think this would be an easy shove if I had a stack of say less than 30k, but other than that, this is an easy fold. Was kinda annoyed considering I came 6th for $166, first was $1940, would ...

Live tournament, marginal structure
Hi guys, just wanting some advice on my local casinos tournament. Its kind of a donkfest towards the later stages because the blind increases are big, but i believe its beatable (i have won it once) but i want some advice. The structure is as follows: 3k starting chips, 20minuite blinds: 25/50 50/100, 150/300 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, - from here im not sure. But basically, the blinds are pretty crazy and you start with like 60bb' these kinda tournys are very tough if you dont hit hands because its so soft the hands shown down are crazy, people calling AI with k6 and stuff. Anyone got ...

So I finally figured it out
Last night I played a tournament, I dont know if it was luck or not but I played fo real, I knew when I was beat, and i knew when I was ahead, i was making awesome bluffs on four flushed boards, middle pairs, playing random, every hand diffrent so nobody could get a read, i dominated the tables, nobody bullied me, got my money in good every hand. hope this is a sign of things to come. Listening to my instincts works. watch this space

tournaments ranging < $10, and somone else plays (or any number of people play), whoever does better wins the prop bet (id prefer this) we can use PLB system to work out, if nobody cashes nobody pays. Say $5 or $10 each, winner takes all'

Yes i knew it was a mistake as soon as I was called because i couldnt do much, i was getting so many horrible hands. So would you say its better to push in late position, maybe with a limper with Q8o+, than push UTG+1 with A7o'

Late in a live tourny, short stacked
Im rubbish at donkaments but here goes: Late in a live tourny, 32 left or so, sat at a pretty standard table nobody being crazy, nobody being overly tight (im quite new to the table). I have 7bb in UTG+1, UTG calls. I have . Do I fold' - if so, why Do i push' - if so, why Im not going to say what i did and why, I wanted to know other peoples opinions.
